Rinsing the oil out doesn't actually remove it all from your hair.

I imagine that it would leave your hair feeling very soft and conditioned.
 
A pre poo protects the hair from the shampoo.

It just makes shampooing less drying because it's not as stripping.

Also, pre poos condition the hair. :)

i just got my shikakai oil, coconut oil, aritha, vatika oil, neem, and shikakai shampoo bar and i want to try it out so bad but my hair is in cornrows. can i apply the oil to my hair tonight?

I know a lot of people put the oil in overnight and wash it out in the morning.

I'm not into ayurvedic stuff, so I'm not familiar with those specific oils (besides coconut) or the shikaki bar.
 
Oil rinses helps when I am detangeling my hair. Oil makes the comb glide through more easy with minimal breakage and shedding.
 
This was actually a good questions. And you Gals are so ding dang smart. Thats why I love LHCF....there is so much to learn.
 
Very good question! I JUST figured out if I add A LOT olive oil to my co-wash I have very little breakage and no tangles.
