What products are in your hair and are you doing the chase method?
Girl, I put that sucker on the highest setting last week and had the same results. My hair is so tightly coiled that I'm realizing the that I have to use a pressing comb to get my hair straight.
Never ever had a prob w/ my Solias, I keep them on 300. Great results each time.
What are you doing before you flat iron, what products do you have in your hair? That has alot to do with your results as well.
300...are you relaxed? I'm not and I had it on 370...my hair LAUGHED at it! lol I had to crank it up all the way and it still isn't straight as it could be.
Same stuff I always used for a press, redken anti-snap leave in and the heat glide. Been using it for years!
What the heck is the chase method? lol
My verbal directions would be confusing as hell so lemme find some links. BRB

I use a fine comb instead of the brush. I've heard of others using their Denman. I think it really comes down to preference.
Waitttttttttttttttt I just tried it with the brush and big big bigggggg difference!!!!!!

I think the Chase method is to use a fine tooth comb down your hair shaft and follow it (at the same time) with your flat iron. The theory is that the comb separates the hair and enables the iron to straighen better. Is that right Eisani?
yea there's no wrong way. Some prefer a comb and others a brush. Glad it worked for u though lady!I saw a brush in the picture.
The solia never impressed me. I gave it away to a friend of mine. That iron didn't even get my relaxed hair strait.![]()
