I have no idea but just wanted to say you are my type of person. I would do the same thing. Wherever that city is, there's bound to be lots of stuff to see and do anyway and you can get your hair done, so why not?

Schwarzkopf Gliss : Oil Nutritive and Liquid Silk Gloss conditioners. The shampoo's in my opinion are not any good, that is the Gliss line.

If you go to Paris, you will definitely find salons there. I got a dominican blowout there once....I really don't know where but if you were to ask a black person there I'm sure they could help you (that's how I found out).
Not sure about other countries...

Maybe u can fly to the UK since there is alot more black peeps than anywhere in europe i can think of.

when it comes to goood hair products for us europe is dry up on that matter that is just my experience, here in belguim most of the hair products are those regular products u will find on ur regular market with lots of minereal oils=dax, motion, dark n lovely, black en white,tura,.........etc etc.

Hello,

I live in Paris and there are a lot of choices there as well but it depends on whatever you want to do to your hair !!
For the products, our choices are very limited...You have more interesting choices in the US !
Don't hesitate to contact me if you stop by paris..

Dominicans are your easiest answer for Spain. There are MANY in Spain, so you lucked out. Check out Barcelona and Madrid...tho you might do well in Seville. I might consider going to a Roma/Gitano place too.

Can you and other French ladies tell us what's available product/salon wise in Paris and France generally. Most of what I know are the Ketty and Betty Huttom line and I'm interested to see what's favored by the Black French community. I know you guys have a hard time w/ the amount of products, but I think you have some nice ones that I might be interested in.

i would i find them out!?? are there any specifics u may know of?.. im not too fluent in spanish.. and i havent seen many people colored people around here for me to ask. :(

^^^Well, there is the net, I'm sure there's places online for the Dominican community and their salons in Spain. Of course, you can also stop someone who's hair looks good and ask. Frankly, it's cheaper than heading off to Paris and you might meet some nice people too.

Hola muchacha! I hope you are enjoying Spain. I wish I was there too! I would find any salon, find someone and say, "Con permiso, sabe usted donde puedo encontrar a una estilista dominicana?" (Excuse me, do you know where I can find a dominican stylist?)

I don't know your level of Spanish, but if you want to shorten it, maybe you can say to someone, "Busco a una estilista dominicana." ( I am looking for a .....)

HTH! Enjoy Spain!

In France

For the salons, it is something growing in Paris. You have one main place called "chateau d'eau" s where there is a big concentration of salons that do mainly weaves and braids. They do relaxers as well but you won't trust them for that !!! :nono: But now there are a a growing number of alternative salons that do offer more & more real haircare, essentially with Mizani products. As i mentioned before, the choice for hair products is really tight. Either you have the mainstream brands (with mineral oils for instance) such as dark &lovely, softsheen carson, etc... or you have mizani products in high end salons...
Keracare is really hard to find here !!!!:wallbash:
I cannot tell the situation in France but Paris offers the more choice for sure !!!
