Is that normal, I am wondering if it is the shedding hairs tangled up that are coming out or is my hair breaking. Usually after I rollerset it looks the same but I am not too sure. Does this happen to anyone else, should I be worried?

Hmmmmm....I"d say shed hairs. Are they long as your hair with knots or shorter hairs than your hair with knots?

They are long strands all knotted together. sometimes it will be hanging right at the ends of my hair and I has to pull it out. it makes me nervous cause I don't know if I am washing my hair incorrectly or something.

How do you wash/Shampoo your hair head hanging down over the sink or in the shower?
do you apply shampoo to the head or in your hand?

I get those too sometimes when I wash. It's just shedded hair that has knotted up with other shedded hairs. I don't think you should be concerned.
