This may seem "dumb" but, how do you create a pressed rollerset? Do you press it first, then use rollers; or do you press it and then use a curler iron? do you use some sort of setting lotion or anything like that? just a little curious that's all...

I am thinking rollerset...I tried one on my hair the other day and it came out somewhat similar to that....

BUMP....

I am a BIG fan of her hair :yep: It looks almost as if it's "brushed out" a lil in this pic because it's so...."fluffy"...anybody think this style is brushed out at all? How do you get the hair to have so much body like this?

It looks like a pressed rollerset or rollerset to me. Her hair has so much volume naturally & I don't think it's brushed out really like that, it would be really frizzy and out there I think. My natural rollersets looked just like this, only frizzier depending on the humidity. I really believe the look has to do with her hairtype and the right products (antifrizz)

I love Tracee and her hair!

Not to get off subject, but I see you are in Haiti LaBelle, hope all is well. Please let us know you are ok.

It looks like a regular rollerset (maybe finger combed?) to me. Her hair has natural volume because its so thick. Probably a little heat serum applied for smoothness and shine. It's really pretty.

After washing and DCing, i blow-dry my hair with Sabino and then pin curl it. in the morning i take the pins down and shake and my hair looks just like that. try it!

Try blowdry on a cool setting, then use a flat aron to lightly straighten and then pin curl each section. The next day when you release each pin curl you will have body and a curly do similar to Mrs. Ross:yep:....HTH

I've worn my hair like this...after getting a roller set using the red rollers just straighten out your roots a tad bit and it will be similar to this. To maintain it I use pin curls.

Rollerset!!! she's prob a 3b -3c, so it prob doesnt take much to straighten her hair with rollers

What's the deal with the red rollers people keep mentioning...? Are they just red magnetic rollers?? Cause I have magnetic rollers but they are black.
