I use it as a protein treatment on my demarcation line - leave it over night (applied like a relaxer) and then co wash with a moisture con. I may never use shampoo again!

It helped me stretch for the first time in... years

I love the stuff

I saw the thread last week about it and went out and bought it a hour later.

Finally used overnight mixed with Joico and I  it.
I'm 12 weeks post and I can't believe the shed hair just slid out and my hair had no tangles!

Keeper and the fact that it's cone and sulfate free as well as five bucks for 16 ounces are great points.

Thanks to those that gave this product a big up. I've found my stretching product.

This is my new favorite product. Love the light fluffy whipped consistency. It reminds me of Qhemet's Olive Cream Detangler which was discontinued. Can't beat getting a huge vat of moisturizing cream for under $5. I like the ingriedients too.

Really? Wow.

And a cousin co-signing...
makes me feel good about my purchase..

*plan to go back to spot and snatch most of them off the shelf..but not at one time...I don't want the Asian bss owner to get suspicious...*

I just purchased this product the other day... I'm about 10 weeks post and this stuff made NG (which is always coarse and hard) soooo soft... OMG... I love it!

I may have to try that choppy. Sounds very moisturizing, and it must clean your hair if your thinking of not ever using shampoo. Definately gonna try this this winter when I start my stretches

I love using this for wash and goes. I stopped for a little while because it has protein and I have protein overload. But I love the smell. I also use it to smooth my bun.
Hey Sandy, What does too much protein do to your hair and how do you know you've got protein overload? thanx in advance......Anna

Cantu Shea Butter Leave In and I are new BFFs :yep:

I am thinking about trying the whole line eventually after I run out of some stuff. If the leave in is this good, I can only imagine that most of the product line work together great.

Just recently tried Cantu shea butter maybe a month or two now. I also love how it makes my hair feel, very moisturized, conditined or sealed of you will. love it in and on my hair. Can't comb my hair out when I oil my braids with it, But gonna start stretching and bunning soon and then I think i'll see the results i'm looking for?

I like this product, but recently, I have noticed the residue it leaves. I like it to leave in as a deep conditioner for a few hours while doing something else around the house, but I used it as a pre-poo for my daughter who has waist length hair (her pic is in my fotki) this past weekend...

....and there are all kinds of little white bits in her hair now - even after a thorough shampoo. She is tender headed and it made her hair re,arkably easy to comb through...but it's so hard to get it completely out of the hair. That is the only thing I don't like. You HAVE to clarify after using this product.

The good side is that her hair is super moisturized and because of her outdoor field trips this week, I didn't worry too much about the white bits; she was going to come home looking rough every day this week regardless of WHAT I did.

But I already know that I can't use it in this same manner when I wash her hair on Friday...

I do like this product, but it has a couple of down sides for me as well...

Hmmmm....

I am relaxed and this product did nothing for my hair, except made it hard. I didn't like it at all, so I threw it out maybe 3 weeks ago. Maybe I used it wrong. Off to check out LGL's review.
