Hi ladies, thanks again for all the lovely compliments.
I am always hesitant to call what I do to my hair a "regimen", because the word "regimen" to me connotes a procedure that you follow strictly. I don't follow any one process, or use any one product religiously. In fact I am quite lazy when it comes to my hair:hide: I believe I have RETAINED length from low manipulation. I think my hair grows at a rate of about 1/2" a month. It's always been like that. I have never used any hair growth products to speed up the process. Below is summary of what I do.

Wash
Before I wash I separate my hair into 6-8 sections. I have to, have to, have to do that because my hair is too thick. Once I tried to wash it all together:nono: I nearly passed out in the shower from the heat, frustration and pain. My hands hurt too much. NEVER AGAIN!
I shampoo my hair with the $3.99 stuff from the grocery store. Is that good for my hair? I don't know. I do know people pay close attention to the ingredients in products on this board. I have never paid attention to that…yet. Maybe once I do my hair would grow faster:) One thing I did learn from this board is that shampoo can be very drying to the hair, and so I don't shampoo every time I wash, 1/2 the time I just condition without shampooing. I do shampoo when I have used gel, which I tend to when wearing my hair in a wash and go.
I also condition with the cheap stuff. I use everything from Suave, to DDTA, to garnier fructus, etc. I do have some Tigi bedhead conditioner that I use sometimes because I love the smell.
I occasionally preconditioned my hair before shampooing. I will usually mix up stuff, like olive oil, castor oil, honey, mixed with those pre conditioning packs you get from Sally's etc
Frequency: When wearing my hair curly (unpressed) I normally wash once a week, on the weekends. If it’s pressed, I can go a month without washing:dead:

Styling
I either wear my hair in a wash n go (curly) or pressed

Wash n go
I wash, and then depending on how I want to style it I may
1. Use Fantasia IC gel if I want to wear it out, like the first pix in my siggy. This is how I wear my hair on the weekends. I take my hair is sections, run through with a good dollop of gel, and I keep running through the hair from root to tip, kind of like shingling with out the heat.
2., use some garnier fructus leave in conditioner, mixed with olive oil or castor oil and throw it into a bun. This is how I wear my hair on the weekdays, to work. It stays in a bun, Monday through Friday. At night I may take it out of the bun, run some oil through, and pin it up.

Press
Tools: blow-dryer, hot comb and MAXIGLIDE (Set to 5). I use a few drops of biosilk serum for thermal protection and shine.
After washing, I blow-dry my hair straight in 6-8 sections, using a few drops of biosilk. The key to a good press is to press in very small sections. I'm talking sections of 1/2 cm by 4cm:drunk: Anything larger than that won't work on my hair. It would be a waste of time. So I take section by section, pass through once/twice with a hot comb, then again with my maxiglide. I trim of about ½ inch each time I press my hair. It normally takes me about 3 hrs to blow-dry and press my hair:ohwell:
I maintain my press by wrapping my hair every night, using Macherieamour's technique. I can't stress enough how much that helps. In fact my hair gets straighter in the first couple of days after the press because of wrapping:yep: Now I am not going to fool y'all into thinking that I press my hair and wear it out all day and it stays looking like it does in my siggy. Erm....no! :look: My press has a daily shelf life.:lachen: If I know I want to wear it out straight to an event at 3pm, my hair will stay in 2 buns, each half wrapped in opposite directions until 2.55pm when I'm about to step out of my car. I unpin, fluff and voila, it's straight.:gorgeous:
I think that’s all of it.:)
