Is this bad?

My hair dresser flat ironed my hair with ORS glossing polisher. My hair came out very silky. Here is some info on the product

Ingredients

Cyclomethicone , Methyl Soyate , Isopropyl Myistate , Stearoxy Dimethicone , Coco Nucifera Coconut Oil , Methyl Olivate , Crambe Abyssinica Abyssinian Oil , Fragrance Parfum , Benzyl Alcohol , Benzyl Salicylate , Geraniol , Hexyl Cinnamal Aldehyde , Lilial , D'Limonene , Linalool , Lyral , Alpha Iso Methyl Ionone
Instructions

• For Frizz Control:
  • Apply a dime-size amount to palm of hands.
  • Rub hands together and distribute evenly to hair.
  • Use either a curling iron or flat to seal polisher into hair.
  • Style as usual.
  • For maximum shine, apply again after finishing.

Is it damaging to use this when flat ironing? Please dont say no cuz it came out so silky

I doubt it. As long as you don't go overboard on the flatironing (and keep deep conditioning) you should be fine.

On someone with little hair knowledge, probably damaging. On someone who knows to DC and moisturize often, probably not. I would just wash out before it dries out your hair. Moisture may have been locked in but moisture has also been locked out. So after a few days, I'd moisturize.

I flat iron weekly. So when I feel my hair getting dry which is usually the next day I moisturize. Sometimes I do it the same day just out of fear of my hair drying out.

im relaxed. i use either shea butter or ltr sealed with jojoba oil

yes shea butter gives my hur the bizness!! lol
