i thought id straighten my hair yesterday
wrong :nono:

so i conditioned my hair with sunsilk silky straight and its heat protector, as i started to blow dry my hair was drying and starting to shrink. that took an hour and i got tired. so i left the center two big patches of hair to complete the next day:wallbash:

it took my 50 minutes to blow dry and detangle what was left. my hair is 4b in the center and 4a in the front and back of my hair.

im finally done at this point(several hours ago)
my roots were straight but not my ends:rolleyes:
anyways i didn't finish and this is a bad experience i had, i may never straighten my natural hair again its too much work. im so depressed right now:nono:

i dnt want a relaxer again
 i just want to wear my hair straight for a while
i may go to this shop my friend goes to her flat irons last almost a 3 weeks(she may have heat damage though)

here is my blow dryed hair

I can't offer any advice but I would like to say that your hair has really grown since you did the BC.:yep:

Seximami~ did you ever get that Job awhile back? I don't know if you saw I had bumped your thread up, and I don't know if you answered it already or not, But did you get the Job?

Your hair really straighten good with that blow dryer, what about a sew in straight weave? or just find a salon or someone who can give you those relaxer results without the chemicals. Good Luck!!

What the?! LOL
Do you have a flatiron? Because a flatiron will help you make it straight. Or you could get it professionally done.

i do i put it on 330 i didnt want to put it to 395 or 360 it would have burned it straight. i put it on 360 twice but the ends just didnt want to straighten. when i went over it with heat it was ok, but when i combed it it felt kinky and it wouldnt comb straighr through

I know how you feel--I have been there many times. My natural hair hated to be straightened, as does my now texturized hair. I have decided that I am going to have to find someone to straighten my hair when I want it straightened. I can do everything else I need to do except cut it in a style and flat-iron. I know who I want to cut it when I'm ready, now I'm looking for someone I can trust to flat-iron on occasion. I just don't think straightening/flat-ironing is my thing.

I attempted to blow dry and flat iron my hair, my hair startpuffing out and then I realize my hair was to much for me to handle, so I stoped put the rest into the pony tail and went to the hair dresser. I don't know what I was thinkin. I feel like that sometimes too. I haven't used heat in awhile and im in no rush to do my hair myself to straighted it out.

girl you should've asked! i would never document this in my fotki, but i tried to straighten mine a while back. it was a mess lol! i think i'll wait til i have more length and get a pro to do it lol.
