Hi everyone. I'm thinking about relaxing soon and I wanted your opinion on which condish is better to DC with after relaxing. Which one would you choose? If neither, please specify what you would recommend. Thanks!

Porosity Control isn't a conditioner conditioner. Its more of a quick rinse that helps restore the porosity. You can mix it into some other conditioners but it isn't something that you would want to sit around the house with alone because there really isn't enough conditioning ingredients in it. If you want to use both products you can try adding a little porosity control to the ORS or deep condition with the ORS first and then after rinsing, finish it off with 20-30 seconds of porosity control.

I chose other because my absolute favorite and only deep conditioner is mixing them together. Nothing moisturizes and detangles quite like them....when they're combined.

Okay, thanks! I was reading the back of the package and it mentions "For extreme conditioning: shampoo, rinse, towel blot. Apply generously, working into porous ends. cover hair with plastic cap. Process under dryer for 5-10, rinse and style.":ohwell: I, nor any stylist that I've used in the past have ever used it on my hair like that.

Thanks for your suggestion, Gym!

Hmm. I didn't think about that. Sounds great thanks!

I love the ors paks...The smell is so refreshing... I on the other hand tend to leave it on for hours... My hair feels great afterwards!!

I would use both. I think I would rinse the relaxer from my hair for about 10 minutes or so and apply the Porosity control and leave it on for exactly five minutes and then neutralize. Porosity Control has a ph of 4.5 so it would help the neutralizing process. I would finish neutralizing then shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo and after that I would do the d/c with the ORS pak and sit under the dryer for no less then 25 minutes. Now that's what I'd do. I HTH in making your final decision. BTW: I did not choose because my choice wasn't listed. :)

I Would say the ORS Pak smells wonderful and it makes your hair soft and manageable I use it on a regular basis .GOOD Stuff

This is exactly what I did today after I relaxed. My hair feels and looks great.

I've reviewed both (Sally's album).

I'd say use the PC after washing out the relaxer but before neutralizing. Then DC with the ORS pak.
