I saw some in a local BS store yesterday...they wanted 6.99 per jar, so needless to say...they are still sitting there!

God is good yall, let me tell you why:

I was driving around my job looking for something to eat when the Lord told me to make a right on a street i've never driven down. I went maybe about a mile when there to the right was a Target i've never seen. I stopped thinking "I know they ain't going to have any here but let me just look". Low and behold there was about 5 sitting on the shelf!! I bought 3 of them even though now, thinking about it, I should have bought them all. I will go back next week and see if they are still there.

I bought all 11 of them a store had a few months ago because of the PJ in me, but I made myself take back 8 of them recently!

OMG, this cannot be true. I'm going to try to email them and find out what is going on. Then I will go to every Target, Rite Aid, CVS, etc. to see what I can find.

I strolled into CVS thinking I could find a few, but to my chagrin  there were none left and there was a red 50% off tag there. :ohwell:

There were no more at Target today. The same Target where I bought the last mask on the shelf 5 days ago.

The price label for the masks was still on the shelf, but there was a sticker on it - a gray dot. I guess that means they're no longer going to carry it.

Yesterday I was in Wal-Mart and Rite Aid. Neither store had the mask, but they did have the other Pantene Relaxed & Natural products.

I emailed but no response as of yet.

I went to Target today and there were ZERO masks. Not even a place for them. They had the shampoo and rinse out conditioner, though. I went through all the hair product aisles (at least twice:look:) with no luck.

I need to find this somewhere.

It seems to me like they are scaling back on BD altogether. I can't even find the conditioner anymore, and the ones I do see have a very thick layer of dust on them.

I was at the Christmas Tree Shops in Somerville, MA today and saw a whole bunch on sale. I wanted to try it, but I'm not too crazy about Pantene. So whoever is in the Boston area you should go there. Its the Christmas Tree Shops near exit 30 (route 28) near Medford.

I bought this from CVS due to the reviews here and I really like it. Not in love (thank goodness) just in case they do decide to stop carrying it.

My new love is Pantene Relaxed and Natural Conditioner! Now, it would be a TRAVESTY if they got rid of it. I use as a leave-in and it's cheaper than the regular stuff I use.

:lachen:I thought I was the only one that said the Lord allowed them to find a way to support their habit:grin:. I know I can't blame Jesus for my PJ tendencies, but He sholl be letttin me know where to look!!!

Well I don't understand why if this stuff is being discontinued, it can still be found in Walmart? At least it can here by me, since I just purchased 2 new jars about 2 days ago. Mainly being, because my local Dollar General store was out of them, and stated they'd have more possibly by next week, and I didn't have time to wait. So I picked up some at Walmart instead, and mind you, they had a whole shelf of these masks. I just don't understand why'd Pantene would want to let an awesome product go poof!:nono:

On the bolded, I SO Agree, and it just smells soooo good too. But if they do decide to actually discontinue the masks, then I'd at least have this one to fall back on. Albeit, it wouldn't be the same, but I can work with it still though.

I would just use the R&N rinse out condish as a Deep condish as well. A lot of times I use rinse out conditioners as DC's (if they are thick enough). A lot of times I notice that the ingredients in a product line's DC is very similar to the corresponding rinse-out conditioner, except the DC may have more oils and may be a bit thicker, and if that's the case I just add a bit of oil to the rinse out and use it as a DC.
