I finally decided instead of stressing out about my hair hair and my foot, I can eliminate at least one problem...MY HAIR!!!! I wanna be able to take care of my foot and concentrate on my school work when I go back to school next week!!!! I know its the perfect protective style for me to reach SL by December!!!!! Wish me luck!!!!!:yep:

Are you sure you want to do micros? Ask around first. They have a horrible reputation for damaging hair when they come out. Just a heads up!

good luck girl!! I got micros close to the end of July. They are still in. Friday, I got the front, edges and back re-done because they were loose and some were hanging really low. When she too the braids down, I looked at my hair and it looked healthy. I was impressed. I have been moisturizing, oiling, shampooing and deep conditioning w/heat for an 1 hours with the micros in. Make sure that you take excellent care of the hair underneath, take your vitamins, and drink water and don't let them braid it so tight that you get a facelift. HTH

Yesterday, I shampooed with diluted poo, and then deep conditioned w/ a mixture of nature's gate daily herbal conditioner, 3 heaping tbls of mayo, and honey for 1 hour. Rinsed out and then oiled my scalp w/ a combo of rosemary oil, coconut and castor oil. Then later at night I spritzed with Eqyss Avocado Mist Detangling Spray. that's it.

My moisturizers are : Infusium 23/water/glycerin, S-curl, Eqyss Avocado Mist Detangling spray, Premier Rehydrant Spray

My oils are: Cherry Vanilla Sandalwood EO, Castor/Coconut/Rosemary oil, Himgange Ayurvedic oil, virgin Palm Kernel Oil

:yep::yep: I agree with this post! Great regime!
I also have them ,and love the low maintance of them. I am doing just about everything you are doing.
OP-Don't forget to oil your edges, this prevents the edges from snapping or pulling. I will be going to school next week also, and they are so great to have.

Enjoy!! I've had micros a lot in the past too - so long as you take what you know from LHCF about moisturizing and maintaining, you shoudl be goot to go. HHG!

think that it will be important to take care of your hair especially the edges , like the others say you must moisturise your hair well , and I have my " method " to take micros out :
I take a small needle to remove knots and avoid breakage due to knots

I love micros! I always get good growth with them. As the other posters said as long as you redo the front and back -- you are good to go.
