I've been trying to figure this one out too! I think it's the protein. I also believe that's why Cathy Howse's method works so well for many, because it's high in protein.

Yes, it's the 'Rebuilder' that is for hair growth.
It's $23 at Hope's Braids and the $4 shipping (Total: $27). They are also keeping a tally of what's on hand.

Nice and Wavy: Sorry. This is an old post and I missed your question.
Here is my take:
My hair is sure nice and thick now, even more than before. Also, the texture is different. There is more texture to it, as in wave and curly but at the same time it really stretches out. More elasticity for sure and since I also do the Cathy Howse Method, my hair feels really strong. It does not feel so cottony baby soft like before, which I did not like. I am pretty sure that I am getting some length. I haven't tried the OCT yet. I tried to get them to order some for me at the same place I bought the Megatek but they said they would order in a box which of course I would have to pay for but no individual bottles. That could get really expensive. Paying the freight and border and custom and postal tax would about double the price to get it here to Canada. I am going to check another province to see if they can get it for me. Hoping to get your results. Otherwise, it is me and Megatek. HTH
