I love your hair....

I ordered my first butter last week...I ordered shea butter..Its pure unrefined African shea butter and it comes in a creamy form..I was shocked when I learned it wasn't mixed with anything.... When it finally gets here I will let you know how I like it....

Even though that butter did not work out for you, your hair still looks very pretty! Lol, in your video "nice'n buttered, the buttered hair."

I've never used butters but maybe I'll give them a try.

Hey ladies, where are you purchasing your butters from?

I get mine from fromnaturwithlove.com, I would like other options as well though, open to suggestions, especially to find a good batch of Avocado butter again, I miss how I loved that butter

Thank you girl, I gotta have buttered/oiled hair

try some , I hope your hair likes it, its very healthy for your hair :yep:

Girl you have your hair sounding all delicious, no wonder it looks so pretty. :lachen:

Hmmm, I think I will give butters a whirl but keep us posted on what turns out to be the best butter for you.

Girl lol@ delicious, yeah I'm all in love with butters, But I need to find a 'new true love' so I will surely keep ya'll posted, this butter wasnt bad, just not like wow! But I Have to say although it didnt wow me on wet hair , it seriosly wowed on my dry hair later-it stayed so moist and kept so much definition without much effort, I mean the twistout I did was a joke :lachen: so I would really like to try this again with more effort on a twist out for sure, and thank you again mama!

here is a pic of it later on dry hair, I was really surprised, I didnt keep it that way for too long, so I cant say how long it would have lasted, next time I will try it , this motivated me now

I enjoy using shea butter products on my hair. I love and use Nadia for Seyani Hair Butter from SheScentIt.com. It smells so good, and it really moisturizes my hair.

Thankfully it smells notihng like the oil, cause god does the oils smell, the butter seems very close to unscented, I liked that much about it for sure:yep:

great thanks...I'm very sensitive to smells...first thing I always ask about any product...If it's too strong I cant do it...lol

girl I hear you! when I used Macdamia nut oil I had to keep a towel over my head to keep from smelling it :lachen:

so it was a big relief that this was odorless, I cant say every batch will be though, as I was saying I got two different kind of batches of Avocado butter from fnwl, one soft and one waxy, very disapointing

I hope that the macadamia nut butter stays the same on re-order OR I will be like :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

Iris...Your hair is gorgeous!!! I know what you mean. I love butters and oils too!!! :)Did you inform FNWL about the differences in the Avocado butters? If so, did they resolve the situation? That makes me wonder if I should order from them.

Thank you sweetie! No I never did, I was going through alot at the time and just tried to deal with that waxy ish, but both me and my daughter gave it up not long after. I just didnt think back then to let them know. I'm not sure if they can gaurantee every batch will be the same, that worries me too about ordering these butters :perplexed

Wow...your hair is gorgeous!

Unfortunately I think if I tried it, my 4b hair would be a hot buttery mess! :nono: I'm having a little hair envy right now...hopefully it will pass.

Even though it's not your favorite, it still loks nice...wait let me take that back - you're hair is fiyah!! :yep:

The twists are nice as well :spinning:

I keep saying over and over again that I'ma start using butter and I always end up buying something else (henna or oil).:ohwell:
But I'm looking at this YT video and seeing how the comb just slides through your hair...
I had no idea butter could provide that level of manageability. :look:

Well, that's it!!
LOL.
I don't know about Macadamia nut but I'm mos def buying some Shea or Avocado butter--tonight.
