you mean like a wet wrap? i got one of those when i was relaxed and it was a hot mess.

Yeah, a wet wrap. I did both wet and dry when I was relaxed. I just have the hardest time trying to straighten or blow dry my hair now. 
It just looks like straight frizz! So I was thinking of trying to wrap it...
what is a doobie? and what exactly does a dominican blowout entail? no dominican salons that I know of here in San Diego.

A dominican blowout is usually a rollerset, blowdry and/or flatiron.

cause i will be on this soapbox for at least a week) rollersetting is a lifesaver for me. i have only ONCE flat ironed my natural hair to satisfaction and i was still transitioning then. i did not straighten this rollerset but i imagine that if i did the ponytail rollerset then wrapped it everything would be all smoothed out in the morning. it's all about the roots, ya know?a doobie is just getting a wash and rollerset, then wrapping it. if i dont go to a DS to get a doobie they do the rollerset then blow out my roots with a round brush and a handheld blowdryer set on "hell", hence the reason i try to avoid that step now.

Nah! See, I used to wrap my relaxed hair for the night. So that'd mean wrapping my natural hair instead of plaiting it for the night? Nah uh! Can't do that. I think I'd start frothing at the mouth if I dared. I've only wrapped my extension braids. My natural hair gets plaited at bedtime.

What you do to relax hair, you usually cant do to natural hair, well at least the steps are different, you cant wrap on wet hair, you may have to straighten it first and then wrap or roller wrap and then wrap and then it still may not come out right, prob. roller set and then pin curl to maintain the style may work out better...

Thanks for all the replies ladies. I'm just trying to think of what would be the best method for me to straighten my hair. I tried rollersetting, but my hair doesn't seem to stretch right around the rollers. Idk what I am doing wrong. My hair is too curly, it just bunches back up into it's curly state.

Maybe you are using too much hair? IDK
