Has anyone tried this? Is it any good? I was thinking about using it as a deep conditioner because the ingredients sounded yummy (shea butter, avocado, etc.) but I was a wondering whether it would work as a regular ol' DC since it's a smoothing conditioner, and I'm not using it prior to flat ironing or anything.

Any reviews?

I've reviewed their other conditioners and would highly recommend the line period. I also use thier poos which are SLS free and gentle enough to be used DAILY -and I DO wash DAILY. See my drugstore album to see my reviews on other products from this line. :yep:

Others have used the Shea Butter Conditioner and loved it.

I WANT IT! WAH!

Bumping for you.:yep:

Thanks for the info!

Yeah, I did a search for the line in general and see how popular it is, so I figured the line was good.

I'm hoping someone can chime in to share whether this particular conditioner can be used solely as a DC because I'm so itching to get it... :spinning:

I LOVE ORGANIX!!!!

I've tried the Shea it was good! for me these are more CW conditioners but all the ingredients in all of them are good! I have them all , cept the Pomegranate one

I've used this as a leave in and a rinse out conditioner, it's great stuff. It detangles, conditions and leaves hair feeling nice and smooth.

I am happy that you asked about organix, because I bought all of the items from the line, but have not used them yet.

REALLY? Ok, so why not as a DC? I don't really do CW's so if that's all it's good for, then I may pass.

Is it just not a very good moisturizing conditioner?

I guess they would be sufficient for deep conditioning, I'm thinking I do the same when I'm leaving them in, they are good Conditioners so it should be fine for DC'ing

Have you tried it as a DC?

well I only either leave in or rinse out, nothing else

really these are good for both to me

Like Iris, I've only used my Organix conditioners as rinse out or leave-in. But all things considered, using them as a leave in is kinda like a prolonged DC. Give it a try!

This is a good conditioner. I mix it with oils and use it as a pre-poo or use it for co-washes. I only use it as a rinse out after a shampoo if I am following up with a DC. For me, it did not work well enough by itself to use for a DC. Let us know how it works out.

i'm looking forward to trying this line. i really want a sls free 'poo because i hate the drying feeling i get from sls-plus ones.

I have to say, although Organix has sulfate free poos, they weren't as gentle as I'd like. If I used too much, it left my hair feeling stripped. :perplexed

I don't use their poo anymore.

i love the Smoothing Shea. It's my favorite one, it detangles and leaves my hair really soft. Its' a keeper!

I haven't tried the shea formula but I've been using the olive oil conditioner and I have to say that it's very very very good for the price. I also have the coconut formula but i haven't tried it yet. if you're not pressed for time, wait till walgreens has their buy 1 get 1 sale and get two for the price of 1
