How would you wear your hair???

I have a natural friend that is wondering about this.....if she should flat iron, or if she should get micros.............

What do you think???????:yep:
 
i think i would want either some loose big curls or a really slick pretty bun. nothen too sexy but nothen too boring and blah.
 
Sexy, sophisticated bun...but Natural is great too...Just do whatever, cuz Being Natural allows for lots of versatility...I say rock them ALL!
 
I'd wear my hair differently than I normally do. Most likely a rollerset. If she hardly ever flatirons, she should flatiron as a treat to herself. That way if she's caught on camera, her hair will be bangin! :grin:
 
Shoot, I would be maxigliding my long hur (if I had long hair like you do lil' sis). Yep, I'd be tossing that stuff around looking HOT! (and um, paying attention to the serious political nature of this historic event).

The air in Denver is very dry so she wouldn't have to worry about her hair reverting much due to moisture in the air.
 
There are always some really pretty twistie buns that people rock, it's sophisticated and just gorgeous to me.

I'd rock my natural hair. Most likely two strand twists in a bun, or some sort of updo. There's enough straight haired black women out there - by the gods, lets express our individuality some, eh? :rolleyes:
 
Since I work in DC and have been to hundreds (it feels like) DNC, DCCC and RNC events, including the big DNC event in 04, I do me. I wear my hair the same way I do and I pretty much dress the same way (unless I'm extra bummy.)
 
I say wear it how she normally does. Corporate/politics isn't like how it used to be regarding hair. Of course, there will always be that ONE, but she'll be fine.

This is what I was thinking..... Her DH said it is "no time to become a conformist now".............

Food for thought for her...But she wanted my honest opinion.....
