NATURALS: Please name ur FAVE moisturizers that can be used daily!

Oh I also like seyani hair butter. I still can't figure out if it's a moisturizer or a sealant. I've used it as both. I guess it could be used to keep pressed ends moist and soft.

I just found out (through someone's siggy) that Hair2Heaven's store is back up! I LOVE the EndAll to moisturize my ends whether wet or dry but I ran out a while ago and then when I went back on to buy more, she was on sabbatical. I just bought 2 jars.

i love aloe vera juice and glycerin together in a spray bottle as a moisturizer, then i seal with Nutiva coconut oil. my hair can stay soft all week with jsut one moisturizing session using the above ,but I do it 2 or 3 times a week and my hair feels like butta. I don't think it would be good to use it on flat-ironed hair though. I use it while bunning.

I just order the avj and glycerin from camdengrey and will be doing this when it gets here. I purchased the nutiva coconut oil from the vitaminshoppe and I really like it. I hope the avj/glycerin mixture works for me b/c I am not really feeling the curl activator that I have been using.

Ooo! I think this is the product Macherieamour (spelling) uses?? I meant to try this out on my pressed hair cuz I have YET to settle on a good product to keep my hair moisturized when I'm wearing it straight....

yep. i learned about this product from her and i love it. often times when i try a product someone suggest (especially moisturizers) my hair ends up hard and crunchy but my hair loves this.

I did a search today to do some reading about the tea thing and had trouble with the search ..but I did find one post where you mentioned the tea spritzes

What is it about using tea as a spritz or rinse that is moisturizing to the hair? I read good things about nettle tea used as a rinse (or as a drink) as having good effects on people's growth but I didn't realize it was good as a moisturizer, too

I still use a braid spray for my hair which has glycerin in it. I forgot the name of it, white bottle with purple lettering. I can't use SCurl, makes my hair feel crunchy.

She's been natural since 2002.

My favorite is S Curl when I'm wearing my hair out. I don't use it daily. I use it twice on wash day--soon after wash in the AM and then at night, and then with nightly bagging, I don't have to apply it again till wash day. Hair stays moist and soft without being icky sticky.

These are the two things that I use and so far my hair is staying moisturized. They are awesome.

ETA: also in my spritz mixture, I have AG Hair Cosmetics fast food leave on conditioner.

Yep, S-Curl has a lot of glycerin. The full ingredients are: Water, Glycerin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Acetamide MEA, Ceteth-20, Olealkonium Chloride, Stearalkonium Chloride, Panthenol, Simethicone, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Fragrance.

How do I know you've been natural since 02? Just a lucky guess. It's not like I go around stalking people with gorgeous hair or anyfin like dat. That'd be kinda creepy.

I couldn't use S curl daily. It seemed to build up on my hair and left it sticky. So either you use a little bit or not use it e'ryday (which wouldn't work for you).
