:spinning:They are very thick and pretty. I was wondering if you actually cut them yourself or if you had them professionally cut. And if you cut them yourself, how do you do it... What do you do on those days that you don't feel like styling them? How do you style them? Can you do c/o washes while still having bangs?
Please share your bang chronicles me! TIA :yep:

I want to know too, because her hair is GORGEOUS!

After I hit "new posts" and saw my name in a title, my heart skipped a beat.

I cut my hair myself and I have even used regular paper scissors to cut my bang while in the office. :look:

bang cons:
  1. they can make a boring ponytail look cute
  2. good for hiding raggedy eyebrows (if you haven't found time to go get them waxed) and forehead pimples
  3. they can be pulled back
bang cons
  1. when you are ready to grow out your hair, it can be a nightmare and it may feel like it's taking forever
  2. when your bang style calls for the bang to be perfectly styled over the forehead, a gusty wind can mess u[ your whole look. nothing worse than a bang sticking straight up.
You can most certainly do wash and goes with a bang. Here are examples:

My hair was airdried in 2 plaits. I unraveled the braids then bumped my bang under.

The braided bang (last year). This took some getting used to. I don't like it ALL that much, but I work the night shift so screw it. lol Plus, it gives my bangs a rest from all the heat.

Hair is airdried "as is" and the bang is fastened back with clips. (please excuse my liver lips )

I love your bangs, I can't believe you used paper cutting scissors.:yep: I miss my bangs sometimes but I wear my hair back alot and it got to be a pain, what do you do when you want to slick all of your hair back?

If I tie my hair down with a scarf while air drying in a ponytail, my bang will be mostly slicked down. I will still need to add those clips to the bottom of the bang to hold it down.

Dsylla- okay you are just showing off now. You could of just answered the question. No you had to go post three pictures of you and your hair just looking hot. Showoff. :lachen::sekret:Please PM me your skin regimin.

Thanks! But still. Oh, one more thing - is your hair natural? If you do relax, how often is it and do you relax bone straight or texlax???

My hair is relaxed, or texlaxed as we say on the board. I texlax every 8 - 12 weeks and I leave it on for approx 5 minutes with very little smoothing.

Thank you, D!
So can you give us bang cutting tutorial?

I really don't have one at the moment. I could youtube it the next time I cut.

girl, you know we like pics

as far as the skin, I hardly ever wash my face but I if i do, i use burts bees orange oil cleanser. I do conditioner washes every day and my face has not suffered.

my moisturizers are coconut or olive oil. I also take coconut and flax seed oil internally.

that's it. I'm very low maintenance as you can see.

Double post. Do you think Castor oil is the main factor in acheiving your lush thick hair?

No, I only started using castor oil recently.

I swear by carrot juice. Isis started a thread during my newbie stages and it said how carrot juice thickens hair so I drank freshly squeezed carrot, or carrot, apple, ginger juice everyday for approx a year and a half.

I haven't drank the juice in a looooong time and I have noticed a change in my hair. but, it could be lupus related or something...

Hey I just love your hair D! I have a question to ask too. Do you roller set or use steam rollers when you curl your hair? How often do you use heat?

I used a curling iron on the bang and flex rods on the rest.

I use heat on my bang sometimes every day. I have only used heat on the rest of my hair once since April :)

thanks for the compliments ya'll
