I saw the thread for Dollar tree finds....so I thought I would do this one for Trade Lot finds.

I know every one goes to them, don't be ashamed to admit it. You know that place where you go from stall to stall out side. Where people sell everything but the kitchen sink. (you might even find that there):lachen:

Anyway, I was at the local Trade Lot last weekend and found one of those turban towels for a $1.00. (it was new and in the pack) I was going to go back and get it before I left, but I forgot.:wallbash: You better bet I'm going back this weekend to see if the lady has any more. Her stuff sells quick.

Then... I found some real pretty silk and satin scarves for a $1.00. I got 4 of them. They were on a cheap head band, but they were easy to pull off, and there you go a wrap around scarf.

So, come ladies, what super finds have you found at the Trade Lot?

Is that a synonym for flea market? Girl... you're funny :lachen:

I got some fragrance oil and a few barrettes.

what is trade lot? i dont think we have one in south carolina. lol
My father lives in SC. I think theres one there somewhere. Its where alot of people have a booth and sell stuff. It can be inside or out side. They sell new stuff or some of their own stuff. I get my local honey there. Its cheaper than the stores.
I know there is one in NC that I heard was huge. I can't remimber what city its in.
You can find pretty much anything at a Trade Lot.

Yeah, I didn't want to say that, I was thinkin it sounded to country :lachen:.
My family also calls it the local Dirt Mall

:lachen: Girl, you talking bout the swap meet/flea market! I've never heard it called Trade Lots - that must be a chain, or something.

I actually haven't been to one in a minute - I've been doing the thrift stores instead - but shoot, I need to go check out the flea market!

LoL! I have told someone I got such and such at the Trade Lot, and you should have seen the look I got. I had to rephrase it to the Flea Market. Then the light clicked on. :lachen:

Oh gurl...I will hit up the thrift store in a hot minute! You can get some good stuff there for infusing oils. I get my mason jars and lids there that I infuse in. They have all sizes if you get there when it ain't canning season....................... :lachen:

I STALK the thrift stores for mason jars - the kind with the metal 'clamp' lid type things - I have a closet/pantry FULL of them of all different sizes. :love3: I have a fondness for the thrift store.
