It would be fun to meet my 3b/c sistren. Who are you? Please stand up, please stand up!

I'll go first: I'm Lovin' Locks a newbie here. 48 years young, lovin' my hair these days. I came here in an attempt to not get a barber cut. Like a child with a short attention span I figured if I made growing hair a priority perhaps it would help me not want to go bald fade. All my friends ain't having it, certainly my husband ain't having it, :lachen::drunk::nono:. Now, I'm having a ball here cyber chatting with you ladies about hair, haiya, mo hair.

You better not cut off all that pretty hair!

I'm not a type 3, just popped in to say that. :)

3b here! I'm a newbie (although I think I'm sort of becoming not-so-new) and I'm transitioning. Can we also get some 3b/c pics in here?

Your hair is lovely Lovin :yep:.

Hey guys, I'm in the three's. Tons of pics in fotki (actually I just updated).

LL wavin' frantically at Poka while saying thanks to Galad for such a nice comp.

Hey Pokahontas, someone PM'd me yesterday and advised that I check out your Fotki. We were discussing roller sets and such. :beach: Good to meet alla ya.

3 somthin here. I am trying to get to mid-back with all one length. Hard to do because my hair is so thin and I have to keep trimming up the ends so it will fill in.

ETA: But I love my hair!

My hair is APL now. I am 9 months post relaxer. I am currently trying to get decide between relaxing again or transitioning to natural.

mixed 3er checking in, fine & dense strands. I am relaxed now. When I was last natural, I didn't know about hairboards,so I don't have natural pictures and I am not much of a picture poster now. I am currently long layered creeping a little past brastrap. Nice to meet you and this thread is a good reminder that we are on the board!

OT: Everytime I look at Pokahontas' hair :love:I wish briefly that I hadn't relaxed, because she has some serious techniques for the straight look that work. Ah some day when I get tired of relaxing........

Type 3 here. :) Pics in fotki. I'm letting it grow and trying to do as little as possible to it. Nice to see everyone here. I just moved south and my hair is acting like a different creature. I think it likes the weather, but time will tell.

3C, fine here. Tried to transition for about 21 months and ended up texlaxing slightly in February. I plan to texlax once a year.

I was brastrap the last time I straightened, shoulder length when curly. I am bored so I want to cut my hair in layers but I am scurred :nono:.

Choconilla, my ex is from Gulfport, Miss (Long Beach). I actually went there for Turkey Day 2007.

Back ontopic. I'm a 3b/c natural head. My last relaxer was December 2005, my BC was November 2006. I was BSL until recently....pics in my fotki:look:

I would trade the hot for cold in a minute! We can switch places!

Girl, I used to say that when I grew up and lived in FL-then I moved from VA to MI and I have had my fill of this cold for the last 7 years. I'm finally moving up outta herre next month and I'm gonna be so glad to see Houston. I will not be complainin about how hot it is for a long time!

I'm 3c also and soooooo wanting to cut my hair above APL. I've had around BSL for the past several years and I'm ready for a change. New climate=new haircut. Oh and I tried transitioning for almost a year but my curls were not trying to lay flat in warm weather!!

3b/3c here :)
last relaxer was 11th Dec 06 and I did the BC on 22/06/08
Currently APL at the back :)
I think I'm in love with my hair :drunk:
lol
