Who's stilling Butter Blends? I'm tempted to start self relaxing or getting this and going to my stylist. Give me your results and opinions! I am 4a/b with fine strands.

i have used the Mizani no-lye for fine/color treated strands and found it to be quiet gentle. it gave me a underprocessed/texlaxed result. Which was okay for me.
I have heard that the butter blends is quite gentle and seems like it is really good for fine hair and texlaxing, not bone straight results.

My stylist used this for my last relaxer and I am very happy with the results, My hair feels moisturized with this then with Affirm fibergaurd or Sensitive scalp

I've used MBB for my last 3 or 4 relaxers (can't remember) and I've had great results. My hair is also fine 4a/b and I initially started with the mild formula. For my last relaxer I switched to the MBB regular because the mild was too mild and I wanted a straighter result. This relaxer system is very gentle and gives great results. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I stopped using it. I was getting the same results using the Lye mizani mild for about $20 less. I have implemented the same steps used in the butter blends system but using different products. My hair comes out the same. I do like the oil spray used in at the end of the relaxer process. That is a keeper.

:yep:I still use it. It's only a couple dollars ($1, I think :lachen:) more expensive than regular mizani, which I used for months before BB came out. I'm 4 something and I like the moisture aspect of it. My hair doesn't feel dry like it used to with no-lye relaxers. I can't wait until my entire head is of mizani BB.

ETA: I'm texlaxed so I like that it doesn't really "straighten" hair that much. I use the regular formula b/c my hair is so thick and coarse.

I have 4a/4b hair and I've been using the same one for my hair. My hair is a little too under processed with this one but I Love :yep: the way my hair feels afterwards. I'm getting a touch up this Friday with the MBB regular instead of the mild and if it's still to under process I'll try the next one up.

I just used it for the second time. The first time I used regular and my hair was very underproccessed. I did a corrective/relaxer at 5 1/2 weeks and mixed super with the regular. I actually used super on my crown area because it seems most resistant. I mixed the super with my tub of regular for the rest of my head. My hair still wasn't bone straight but it was straight enough to look like I had a fresh relaxer. I used the entire system except the final conditioner. I think I'm going to use this for a while and see what I think over the long run.

I just gave up the ghost and bought the system. I got it for 97 bucks and some change plus the bag so I'm pretty happy.

I used the relaxer for fine/color treated hair for my last relaxer and loved it. This is my favorite relaxer so far...I don't think I'll be trying anything else anytime soon.

I relaxed my hair for the first time on Friday with Butter Blends. I have to say I love it. My hair is literally like butter.
I highly recommend this relaxer.
:yep:

I still use it. I was a Phyto girl for over a year, but am now on my 4th Butter Blend use. I use the Super as my hair has always been incredibly tough to relax. The results are great and I don't see using any other system any time soon.

Yep, I have used MBB Fine/color treated for about 1 1/2 yrs (mixed with an ampule of Wella Keratin Oil)...about 4 times I think (too tired to calculate right now). I have fine hair with medium density. Before that I used Mizani, lye, fine/color treated for about 10 yrs I think.

Oh, I must say I like the line all except the one you put in to protect the already processed hair. I have used it on six different heads of hair and it made them all feel dry. Now I stick to Porosity Control for that.

Anyway it is a great product!

Yes, I'm still Using. My last 4 relaxers have been with the butter blends. I have fine, color treated hair and this is the only relaxer that hasn't made it limp, dry or brittle. My hair is or appears fuller, has more body & moisture after using this relaxer.

I used Mizani Butter Blends mild lye for my last 2 relaxer sessions and I love it a lot. I will be using that for a while to come I think. I got great texlaxing results which I wanted to achieve.
