Have you ever had a weave in a bob?

I've had a sewn in bob weave. My bang was shorter than the weave! Mind you this was back in 2003 or 2004.

That's really pretty! I would like something similar to that, but I want my whole head covered, with a lace frontal. and more volume and length so that it touches my shoulders.

I have also had one, but with glue. I have had one with lacing in the front and sew in in the back.

That's what I was thinking, maybe put tracks around the rest of the hair but with a lace frontal..

Have any of you lovelies have pics of nice bobs I can take to the stylist?

Your bob is beautiful Danichoo! What brand of hair is that? I plan on a self-install around mid-August and I saw a nice looking brand at the BSS, called Essence. I'm not ready for the high-end stuff just yet, but if that's what you're wearing, I may have to take the plunge.

Thanks hun! that bob, I put in like last december, it was a full-head sew-in, with a closure I made. I was soooo BROKE and in desperate need of a style change so I used a pack of 10 or 12 inch urban beauty (dont remember lol) & a pack of brown 9 inch weave from WAL-MART for like $5.00!! Lol, I've learned that short styles that aren't long anough to touch ur clothes can be done w/ super cheap weave, b/c they wont tangle...so thats my dirty little secret LOL...dont tell...shhhhh:)
 
For the ladies who gave us the lovely pics of your bobs, do you cut them yourselves? If not, how do you achieve that sassy look?

I cut mine myself-- I use a "technique" lol, where I gather all the hair up into a evenly balanced ponytail @ the nape, and cut str8 across (under the ponytail holder). Since I'm cutting it myself, that gives me the guide i need, plus its the easiest way, hehe. From there, I proceed to even it up wherever needed. Keep in mind that that was my first time trying that stryle and doing that cutting "technique", so really just have to play w/ it...its fairly simple...worked for me!! Also, I Made my own closure by once getting to the top making circles, each one got smaller, until it closed up, and you can't even tell. I dont know what its called, although I know its a name for it.

btw, OP, what style did you do eventually?
 
I actually gave up in the end sorry my kinks resisted the weave, so im trying to look after my man naturally. x
