*SIGH*

I need to find another way to take progress shots - my hair won't stand up anymore.

i dont have progress pics but my fotki has shots of the inch of new growth i got in 6 weeks. Im 4b/4c natural. Stay encouraged hun :-)

progress in siggy (all of the pics show stretched hair though). i had about 2.5 inches of hair when i BCed after 6 months transition. i've been natural for 17 months now and my hair is about 7 inches (slow growth and too many trims in the beginning).

Your hair is just gorgeous!

One of my progress pics is in my signature. I'm relaxed. I have more pics in my fotki. Hope this is what you're looking for! :drunk:

Your hair is so beautiful. You have me wishing that I wouldn't have texlaxed. We have similar textures.

I'm going to post more progress pictures soon for my 3 month nappiversary but here are some 2.5 month progress pictures. These are both freshly washed.

Wow! That's great progress! How long did it take you? What's your regi?

Well, I don't know how long it took. I went natural just to go natural and didn't try to grow it out until around last year. I don't really have a "regi", but I do leave the conditioner on my hair when I finish washing. I don't rinse it out, and it makes my hair more manageable.

I have had several cuts, and I use to just rip through my hair! Ya, it was horrible. Sometimes I still abuse it. :nono:

I'm 4a...at least I think I am :look:

I did the BC on December 6, 2007 and I took an update pic on July 24, 2008 just for you! I am in braids but took some out in the back because they were annoying! I used a curling iron (that I won from taking a Conair survey :yep:) to show clear progress.

I hope you're somewhat inspired. My hair has been growing at a pretty good pace. It's about 5 1/4 inches already, even after cutting off 2 inches last month! I started off with 1 inch-1 1/2 inches in December.

Here you go. The first one was taken at the end of Jan, the second I think was in May. The third was sometime and June and the last one was done a few weeks ago. Q

My hair is the shortest it has been since middle school, I still think I have progress when it comes to how good it feels and the versatility I have in styling. Even though its shorter, its the biggest its ever been. I actually have texture finally!

Relaxed, a few months post I believe:

ETA: Im transtioning too, and want to wish you good luck! I think the longer it is it will get harer, but there should be a turning point where it all gets easy at a certain length. Sometimes you just realize you prefer health over length. I hate short hair on me, but I'm glad I chopped off like 5 inches of hair because it is in such better condition
