and my new growth is already out of control.....I have to flat iron to keep it tame but that now doesn't make much sense since I work out 6days a week.

I originally planned to relax every 8 weeks but this growth is more than I expected for this time frame. I'm really going to try to hold out. I may go to jamaica next weekend and I'm not sure what to do with this hair if I do go.

Girl, I hear ya. I was gonna try for 8 weeks again too, but I just couldn't. I was having too much breakage, my hair was feeling stringy, and although my ng was very soft, it was VERY thick. So I did my touch-up this morning. I just couldn't wait. :nono:

Don't go to Jamaica stressing bout your hair! :nono: Relax that baby.

how many weeks post were you?

 @ the Jamaica comment

Can you rollerset? I am about 6 1/2 weeks post and the new growth is crazy.
If I wash and rollerset, I'll be good for about 3 days.

I decided earlier today though to use glycerin and just keep my hair pulled back in a bun as much as possible.

Are you using MT/OCT or something?
