Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
My hair grows too freakin slow! I don't start seeing ng till about 6 weeks post :perplexed

around 6-8 weeks. My newgrowth usually comes in pretty straight. When I read about ladies seeing newgrowth at 2 weeks it makes me go...:perplexed

BTW...I'm natural now...

Around week 3 or so is when I start seeing a good bit of crinkles and beady beads.

Usually around week 3. I can feel it when I rollerset. Because although, I'm not the best relaxer, the hair is never coarse although not fully relaxed.

---Therefore, when I gotta blow out my roots, which is around week 3 is when I start seeing it.

My hair starts to feel and style different around week 3, but it doesn't start to look different until week 4.

1 week?! lol... i wish! I usually get a growth spurt at 4 weeks, and it's downhill from there... i don't know what the deal is with my hair...like maybe it skips months and i get spurts...but ummm everytime i relax at about 9 weeks i have about 1.5-2inches... i dunno...

the thing is...i trim often:blush: so yeah...that's my problem...lol

At 2 weeks I start feeling lil hard coilies in there

I don't have exceedingly fast growing hair. .5 - .6 of an inch a month...

I go 8 weeks between mild relaxers.

The first week is that "too straight" period.
By the end of week 2 it thickens up a bit.
I can see newgrowth in week 3.
In week 6 it needs significantly more heat and product to deal with.
And the day before my relaxer I can barely comb it.

I feel my first ripples of ng at 2 weeks. It has always been that way. I only get 1/2" a month anyway so feeling ng at 2 weeks doesn't mean I get any more growth.

I usually start to notice it at about 3-4 weeks but it doesn't start to "affect" me until about 6 weeks. It's like once I hit 6 weeks, my hair does something completely different.

I'm about 8 weeks post now and I'm more than ready to relax. I've been looking a mess :lachen:

I dont have a relaxer, but I can usually see new growth after 1 weekof going to the shop, and usually after 2 weeks its very noticeable...i wouldnt know after that

but when I did have a perm, I had to go every 4 weeks for touch-ups because by then i would have a lot of new growth

By the end of the first week errbody would point out I "needed" a perm (this was usually because my edges would come in first I guess). By the end of the second week there was about a cm of NG, no joke. I was getting like 2 cm a month, sometimes a whole inch. I would perm my hair sometimes every 3 weeks just because there was so much, other times I would only get like a half inch and make it the full month or so before a touchup.

Even with texturized hair, I noticed NG before I was halfway through the second week after I did it

My new growth becomes really obvious around week 6. That's when you can tell where the line of demarcation is between my old hair and my new growth.:look:

i would say week 3-4 im 3weeks post right now and i can already feel a slight 'crinkle' in the back but normally it would be week 4:yep:

my natural hair looks just like yours! wow now i know why i never feel my ng until around 5 or 6 weeks! :yep:

How are you 4a/4bs making it all the way to 4 weeks without noticing NG? I can understand if you have like loose hair, but if you have tight kinks yall dont be feelin that "bump" come in?

:perplexed
