Anyone up for Hair chat?

I'm really happy that I didn't cut off all my progress during my recent hair depression. I'm escatic and shocked that my hair is bluntly cut and all one length (so so glad I didn't cut it all off). I'm looking forward to growing it out more but I'm just not in the mood to be rollersetting (to wear it straight) right now.

So I'll be doing rod sets, not focusing on showing the length so much but focusing more on the style of the hair.

I'm trying to use up the products I have and just be good to my hair.

Oh yeah, I also discovered for the second time that cellophane treatments are really annoying and not worth it since I like to have condish sit in my head for hours at a time.

Hey Gym! :wavey:

I bought some jojoba oil on lunch today. I'm going to add it to my spray bottle for my roller set tonite, along with water and Salerm 21. I'll see what kind of results I get.

My hair is... I dunno. My ends are looking thin to me. But I have to keep reminding myself that it's because my hair is growing, not necessarily because they are damaged. I'm just in a very awkward stage right now and I honestly can't wait to be past it.
I have been lazy w/ applying my MegaTek. For the month of August, I'm gonna stick with my regimen.

My crown is really disturbing me. I have been trying to overlook it and give it time... I always wrote it off as the 'slowest growing area on my head'... but something is telling me that it's deeper than that; there may be permanent damage that is keeping that area from growing all together. :( I'm definitely not going to relax it anymore and see if that improves it. But it's very discouraging; it looks like it's the exact same length as my starting pics. :(

I think my new place has hard water. Eventually I will get a shower filter; til then I'll just chelate a little more often.

I think I am going to try Phyto II at my next touchup. I have been contemplating it ever since I joined LHCF, but I think I'm actually going to try it.
*whew* That's it... :giggle:

Whats up Kels! I hear ya on the awkwark stage thing. I feel the same way.

Is there any stage BESIDES the awkward stage? :lachen: I feel like I'm just moving from one level of buggingmeness to another - it's getting longer, true, but it's still awkward!

Lets not even go there  Seriously, I am about to forget my length goals entirely.

I think that's why I had such horrible breakage with micros...not washing. Anyways with senegelase the ends are out do you wet those too? do they get bushy? Cause I was gonna get me some more done as soon as I started working again to jumpstart some growth plus it's just too hot.

Hmm. I don't know. I hope they don't look bushy after I wash them because I don't want to look like a HAM when I'm on the road.

comtemplating my fuzzy braids looking like loose dreadlocks... i might rebraid my ends or just take em off!!!

For the past few weeks, I've been daydreaming of cutting my hair off. I imagine myself looking in the mirror and cutting it to blunt SL. IDK why :perplexed

I'm trying to fight it, cause I know I'm probably just bored with my hair. I always do dumb stuff to my hair when I'm bored :ohwell:

Fight it girl fight it. Dont cut.I know we get bored.

Im bored out my mind. I just wash every day and clip it up. I finally found a nice Flamingo clip at Ulta's looks just like the Ficcare Clips for around 6 dollars. I may do a braid out tomorrow.

What's wrong?

You know, I just don't know what to do with it. I am natural and my hair is touching bra strap length straightened, and shoulder length unstretched.

I don't know whether to wear buns all the time, or to wear it flat ironed. I would love to do the bun thing, but I just can't deal with the tangles :ohwell: Oh, and I am a little worried about my ends.
