This was the longest my hair has been before LHCF! Right after I joined the site and before reading anything I did a BC! Boy did my hair have that SWANG!!!! But it was thouroughly damaged!!! The BC was a must.

Beautiful hair ladies!

Here's mine:

This was taken right before I decided to go natural. I hope I can achieve the same look with a press and curl.

LOL! That's a cute pic of you!!!!!

:grin:Thanks!

Actually, I loved the way my wash-n-gos looked while on my Mexico vacation a couple months ago. It must have been the weather, 'cause I haven't been able to recreate it since:

THis was 2 years ago. I love my twists in this pic. I don't know if my hair is texture is changing or what but I haven't been able to recreate this look, I always end up looking like a frizz ball after a couple of days. I wore these for about 3 weeks. Sorry the pic is so big, I can't resize it for some reason.

I love this! How do you wear natural twists for 3 weeks? I think my hair would be a mess after 4 days, or a week at most. What products did you use?

:grin:Thanks!

That is a lovely wash 'n go! My hair wants to be like yours when it grows up! :yep:

I can't wait until the day comes when my newly natural hair is too long to do the styles I do today. My hair is only getting long enough to actually DO styles to it :lachen:... these pics are gorgeous (and good ideas too ) Great thread!

All I did was twist my hair w/moisturizer and a little curl wax. I would tie them up at night. After week 2 I would wash them and blow dry them or set them on rollers and sit under a hooded dryer. I have not gotten these results in a long time. My twists do not last like they used to. My hair is getting more soft and fine and it just doesn't work. I've tried gel and everything. I have noticed that when I stay away from products w/alot of glycerin I have less frizz and my twists last longer.

we take a break from our regularly scheduled program.......mwedzi, i positively adore your hair! sorry.....back on topic. LOL

I would love for hair to look like this again....

MsLala, I am still completely in love with your hair. My goodness! It is just beautiful! I'm so jealous!:spinning:

I LOVED this cut/style from Visible Changes (Houston,TX)
Can you believe a white girl styled it?! I WILL be going to her for my next trim... you want .3465 inches, they get out the ruler...lol

EXCUSE the face...make-up does WONDERS...

Oh well...can't do this style until i'm APL again...plus my layers are gone:perplexed

I love pics :-)

Post a pic that you always look at and wish you could do that again! Here's mine:

I liked it when it was a little shorter, right before the awkward stage when I could do coil bangs and my 2nd day hair looked good...This was February

Your hair is is just like my sisters!! Its very pretty! only difference is she has not figured out how to get all the definition in the curls that you have... She scrunches it and wears it curly but i was just tell her she need to figure out how to get that definition poppin... What do you use in your hair?? How do you bring out your curls?

My flat twists in my avatar pic. Now my twist skills seem so deficient. I can't recapture the same look again.:blush:
