Does ANYONE use a TABLE TOP dryer?

I've had mine for many years(another Nat'l Wonder user). I use it for DC and rollersets but plan to replace it one day with the Pibbs.

I have an Ion - the pink one from Sally's. I put it on the kitchen counter and I pull up a chair. I used to put it on my ironing board, or I would put it in a chair and sit on the floor. When I did rollersets I used it for those. I use it for deep conditioning.

I have a conair 1875 watt dryer. I used the dryer since June 2006. It worked well for me but, I made an upgrade to the pibbs in January of this year.

I would completely dry under the Conair dryer after 1hr 30mins. I can remember for many nights though I actually preferred airdrying as it never left my rollersets crunchy. Overnight sleeping in those rollers though was a mess but, my set always looked good.

I only pull her out for like 30 min or so, bc her plug gets hot and I'm scared she's gonna catch on fire.

Anyway, I use her for pre poo's, dc's and rollersets. I want the Pibbs, shoot or just a soft bonnet so I can be more functional while using it. But she won't die. She's even fallen a couple times but nothing.

I'd like to get a Pibbs cause I hear it cuts the drying time by half. But I can't justify the expense. Plus I have my eye on a Gucci bag I'd rather get since my dryer still works.

Yes I use it on the highest setting. I would be sitting for days if I used medium. Girl, I have toted mine to college, grad school and four states....and she's still humming. That's the only reason I have purchased a Pibs because I would be "cheating" on my Natural Wonder.

I do high, then med, then hi alternating like 10 min each...hi for 30m will heat up my jewelry, leaving permanent brands on my neck and ears... I have to ball up tissue and put over my ears and take off my necklace before usedazey-girl don't be playin'....

I have one too. I never thought about using the ironing board! Thanks for the tip! lol

Yes, I have one. I use it for dcing and rollersetting. I don't like it for rollersetting as all the rollers don't fit under the hood. I have to play around and manipulate the thing in order to get my whole head dry.

I will look into something else...eventually.

Heck, yeah! I use the Lazy Dazey, too! She gets nice and hot and has worked well for a long time. I may invest in a new one one day, but since she ain't broke, she stays!
