If I had to choose it would definitely be Dominican

Oh I do not favor the ayurvedic route on my relaxed fine 4a/b hair at all. I do like the oils a lot and poos NOT the powders.

Most dominican products I tried in the past worked great. I wish I still lived in the BX to have acess to them.

I think you can order them online :yep:

forgot the names of websites though :wallbash:

Which do you like better? What are your fave ayurvedic/ Domincan products? Thanks in Advance for your answers! :yep:

IMHO, the two are totally different and serve different functions for me not really apples to apples, if you know what I mean . . .

Ayurvedic: the powders are awesome and I use regularly by simply adding a few tablespoons directly into my conditioners immediately before use. That's the only way I've used them using shakaka when I was extra cleansing in co-washes and amla when I want extra conditioning and strength

Dominican: I think dom products are pretty good in general and have tried a few and only found "fantastic" results with salerm 21 and lacio lacio, both protein based leave ins that I keep in stock.

oh okay :yep: I don't know hardly anything about either one  so I thought I would see which one you guys liked better

I use a combo of both because I feel they have different things to offer. I'd say my regimen is Domivedic or Ayurminican :spinning:

:lachen:at bolded ! I like that ! I have to co-sign with you. I would say I use dominican products more when I want to wear my hair straight or deep condition.

I chose Dominican Products. They work better for my texture of hair and I just love them! I have used some ayurvedic treatments (I love that Godrej Soap Bar) but I prefer Dominican.

I'm biased because I have not used any Dominican products (can't find it ANYWHERE)... i use vatika hair oil and my hair LOVES it... =D

me too! I use Ayurvedic to oil(brahmi or shikakai herbal hair oil) and cleanse (shakakai, aritha and amla rinse)my hair, Dominican(silicon mix and Dfina D) to condition.
