It's so funny how some things work great for some, and doesn't work for others. :yep:
thats so true because i dont like this stuff at all. it smells good but thats about it. i really wanted it to work though because its so much cheaper than the moisturizer i use but nope. it made my hair feel harder each day i used it.

hmm southerntease gave it a bad review...but from what you guys are saying it sounds like something i would like to try on my hair when it's straightened. where are you guys getting it? i cant find it at wal-mart with the other EQP stuff...the BSS maybe?

It's super thick/heavy... I wouldn't use it on straight hair...
well my hair is very fine & dense... I can't really put anything
this heavy on it when it's straight it will weigh it down or revert it

I liked it but it made me shed alot *probably because of the protein* I switched to ORS Olive Oil Moisturizer and I won't be going back to Elasta QP Mango. I like ORS better.

ORS is probably more a true moisturizer than the mango butter (its actually a heat protectant according to the label)

I'm going to be trying the ORS soon

Yes:yep: I still use and love this product!! And it smells good..Works wonders on one of those humid nights..Just go home apply to my edges and ends, wrap and when I get up in the morning..Hair is set just right!!

I was using this every night on my ends and I just stepped it back to a couple times of week because I noticed my ends were looking really dry. I like it but I think I over did it because of the protein.

I love this product, definitely one of my staples. It gives me moisture without heaviness, which is what I got with the ORS Olive oil moisturizer. :nono:

Ok, so I guess I'm the only one who doesn't like the smell. It doesn't stink but whatever that smell is, I just can't take it. I've tried to use some of my scented oils to change the smell but that original smell just keeps bustin' through. Ugh. Anyway, I'm still trying to decide if I like it. I wanted to like it so much, but so far.....ehh, I guess. I'll try it on wet hair like someone else said.

This is exactly how I felt about it when I first started using it. I actually disliked it ... A LOT! Now, it's a good friend, ol' Mango Butter!:yep:

I stopped using it. My hair felt a little dry-ish with it if I used it consecutively for like 5+ days without washing (I try not to wash too often b/c of manipulation). I like Qhemet's Burdock Root Butter Creme better, b/c my hair still feels soft after a week of straight use of this product...I ended up giving my jar to my little sis.
