Also... for the women without success...
consistency may have been an issue...
a lot of people say they use something but they slack off a bit...
if I'm wrong ladies whom it didn't work for please feel free to chime in
inquiring minds DO want to know!
It worked for 94% of people according to this poll... that's evidence
enough for me anyway... it's like anything else though... everything ain't for everybody.

:yep:

The underlined is part of the reason I was hoping they would speak up - it's a perfectly valid reason for a product to not work for you, but really, it's not the products fault. :lachen:

And 94% is amazing - esp. since it's not a product created/sold by someone on the board, and thus doesn't have the 'support a sista' wiggle room in there, either.....

:yep::yep: The thing with this product over some other growth aids is the fact that this stuff does double duty and its a whole complete system that doesn't just contain tingly essential oils.

Exactly...I think that's why using both products the way I do, I'm really getting great results. They both are giving me what my hair needs and my hair is loving it....and showing off:grin:

i cant vote cause mine is still en route...

for the MT users who cut it with oil, how much oil are you using? i plan on doing the mix in an applicator bottle but i wanna get the max results without drying my hair out. best of both worlds, ya know.

I don't measure but my hair is stronger and denser - I have more hairs than before. As JustKiya described for someone else - my underlayers are catching up with the longer top layers, but I am getting length as well.

Several of the topical growth aids worked for me, but OCT has made the most dramatic improvement in a short amount of time.

I'm using roughly 1 part oil/additions (total) to 4 parts MT.

I've kicked around the thought of reducing my oil/additions percentages....... but I haven't, yet.

I realized I should have started with straight MT, and then added the oils/additions slowly, to figure out what the right proportions are, but ah well...... :lachen:

i get a half an inch/mo. a little less if i'm not consistant. i (try to) use it every other day.
btw, my usual growth rate is 1/4". this is about the only topical growth aid to really and continually work for me.

I dilute mines with water. That's it. No oils. Works for me since I oil my scalp first with an E oil (thanks to the advice from Nice & Wavy ). Then apply mixture and massage it in. I do this morning and at night. Then, I spray my senegalese twists with my own mixture.

It includes the Advocado Mist Detangler with Infusium23 along with my Aphogee Keratin & Green Tea Restructurizer. I drench my twists in this mixture morning and night. However, I only drench where my hair is... Will post pics next week (Camera broke) so I can monitor my growth. Just got my twists done this past Friday - 7/11.

Does anyone know how to mark these threads, so I can come back and update?

Go to thread tools -> Subscribe to this thread. Select the kind of notification you want (they can send notices to your email every time the thread is updated - personally, I always turn that off), and hit subscribe.

To come back to it, go to Quick Links -> Subscribed Threads, and it'll be there.

HTH!

sooo are they pretty much the same thing?
I notice them clumped together a lot and no one is really specifying which one they are using...?
Just curious....not wanting to buy any, of course...:look:

Thank you Kiya!!! I need to enroll in LCHF's class 101  They should have it for us newbies.....but I've learned a lot so far...

The challenge thread post (one of the first few ones) lists exactly what each challenge member is using.

In general though, they are similar products - made by the same company - one, marketed/labeled for horses, and safe for humans, the other marketed for humans, no comment on whether it's safe for horses. :lachen:

:lachen::lachen::lachen:, lol....thanks a bunch! I think i will give MT a try! :)

I haven't voted on this I've been using MT for about 3 months now and I'm still not sure it works for me. I incorporated it into my reggie, I seem to be getting new dark roots (my hair's coloured) but when I last had my weave out I didn't see a drastic difference in length, so will finish my two bottles and then I'll be back to vote:ohwell:

ETA: I diluted it with water and SAA and a bit of castor oil I'm in a full weave and so aim a spray bottle at my scalp for application I sometimes grease my scalp before hand with an EVOO and castor oil mix and use daily...

Hrmmm - how much of it is getting on your scalp through the weave? I'm not sure how other weave-wearers who are getting results are using it - did JamaicaLovely post her reggie with her pic?

If you can get to your scalp to grease it, I would suggest applying the MT directly to your scalp, rather than spraying it on.....

ITA with JK and remember, many of us are doing a mini massage when we apply it to our scalps directly. I find it works really well this way too JK:yep:.

I was one of the few who added essential oils to my mix and dare I say....I love love love the tingle it gives me:lick:.

Well, maybe you're right I'll put the concoction in an application bottle and see how that goes....
