Very interesting. Dr.Lauren Pickard of Skin Biology has written a book about a similar issue. His formula for hair growth includes many of the same ingredients and he actively advocates the use of emu oil as a topical oil after the copper peptide and herb solution fo rthe exact same purpose - to make the active ingredients go deeper into the skin where they can really do some good.

thanks for sharing. emu oil in my opinion IS THE BIZ. It has so many healing properties

Sweetheart, your hair is GORGEOUS!!!:eek::eek: Did Judy do it, or did you do it this time around? Anyway, I am very thankful for Emu Oil. I took it in capsule form to help with bad Runner's Knee. I also got the cream for the hair, though. I admit that I have not been consistent. My problem areas are my edges and nape. I need to really concentrate on those two areas.

Thanks so much, as always, Trimbride for the information. You are always such a lifesaver.:kiss:

I  me some EMU oil!! :yep: It loosen up my formerly tight, taut scalp!! Forever a staple!!

This is great to hear a testimony from someone who has had tried and true results. The tight taut scalp in my crown area is what I am addressing at this time.:)

I first noticed my scalp loosening up within the first week of using EMU oil twice daily. I really hope you have the same success that I had. :D

Michael Hollick, MD, Ph.D., Professor of Medicine, Physiology, and Dermatology at Boston University School of Medicine conducted a study involving emu oil and hair growth. His study found that there was a 20% increase in growth activity of skin that received emu oil, compared to skin that received corn oil. Looking at the hair follicles, Dr. Hollick realized they were much more robust, the skin thickness was remarkably increased, suggesting that emu oil stimulated skin growth and hair growth. Additionally, the study showed that over 80% of hair follicles that had been "asleep" were woken up, and began growing. This is what emu oil may do for you! We recommend massaging a small amount of emu oil into the hairless or thinning area of the scalp three times per day, if possible.
