I mean there is a sticky that says: TO FIND YOUR FAV STICKY... i mean come on now!

when i get into a hair mood and hit up the hair forum I get icked by the tons of stickies showing up... i mean i have a 17" screen on my laptop and it still takes up the entire screen. I have to scroll b4 I can EVER see the first thread after the stickies on every page

guess i am the only one bothered... time to shut on up then

I know..but, maybe there were sooooooooo many request for them and the mods thought it would be a good idea...I dunno, I'm just talkin...:lachen:

Quit complainin' :lachen: Nah, I hear you though it is crowded up there. More than 4-5 stickies and it starts lookin' kinda rough. I have a really small laptop, so I've been scrolling alot- especially with the return of the 8 by 10mega-siggies. :look:

it doesn't really bother me per se but if i was to clean up for those who are bothered, i'd just keep stickys but....organize them like 1)Newbies threads 2)support threads 3)all challenges threads....get it! i mean it cuts down on permanent individual threads....whatever, it's jmo and nothing more.

ETA: I was just about to add....1star?! boy these 1 star bandits don't play about these threads....i wish the admins would get rid of the stars....i think they're soooooo overated and i think they're being abused! so what nowadays folks get rated for making a thread on how they feel about tihs on lhcf now!:lachen:

and it's aggravated me for a lil second so today I was like... hmmmm.. I wonder how many of them are up there :lol:

it's been bothering me b/c everytime I click a page I have to scrooooool to get to threads starting

and i ALWAYS see that thread talking about: to find you favoritie sticky.... and I'm always like da hell?!!? a thread to condense them that is seemingly pointless, sitting there, taunting me! :wallbash:

ITA. I go in and give extra stars just because when I see a thread with one star.

I counted the number of stickies too. Just because I noticed there were a whole lot more than in other threads.

I have noticed that the # of stickies has grown, but it doesnt bother me at least not yet --I agree that Most (maybe not all) of the stickies SHOULD be stickies... I just scroll down (it's like I do it on auto-pilot now) it only takes a second or less for me to get to where the threads start.

All of that clicking and scrolling can be considered a little exercise.

let me get out of here, allandra, you got me crack'n up and my stomach hurts....but riddle me this, what kind of exercises can you get out of scrolling 'n clicking?
 
It is annoying. Nothing a click and some extra scrolling can't fix, but still annoying. Like when vs. threads used to cover the entire 1st page of the entertainment forum. Just...annoying. But I'm easily annoyed :lol:
 
I've been thinking the same thing...they just need to be consolidated. The "your favorite sticky" sick is a consolidation of tons of threads. That should be updated:yep:

It also annoys me. I didn't post anything about it because I thought some might find it rude. But yeah, there are a lot of stickies!
 
i thought about this before too... now that you mention it, the challenge and support threads could go into the challenge thread sticky (maybe renamed "challenges and support threads sticky" the first post can be links of challenges, and the second post can be links of support threads)... and an "everything you need to know" or "starting out" sticky could be helpful to condense a lot of basic info for newbies or those wanting a refresher. and maybe a "Deals and Discounts thread" could bring the discount thread and the pibbs together...... and etc etc...
