I know there are different types?? right.. so which one is best to use? Is it by the type of hair you have or what you want it to do? I've heard that some are good at making your curls "pop".. :perplexed:look: that's what I need for sure? But which one should I get- and where? I"m a 3c/4a I think.

thanks ladies!

I found a Denman like brush today. It was marked "Annie" and it looked and was made like a Denman. This is as close to a Denman I've been and I've looked everywhere just about. I didn't get it though because I thought it was the generic one and I'm still hopefull of finding the real one.

As far as type, I have no clue. I'm just gonna grab one when I see it!

I like the flat wide brush..rarely used but as I transition I'm sure to be using it a bit more.

LCL...go to SALLYS..they have them.

I have a D3 Denman that I got from Sally's.

As promised, it did define my curls but it also altered my normal curl pattern. If I let my hair air dry untouched, I get big puffy coils. However the D3 turned them into small ringette type curls. I think I have the wrong brush for my hair. It seems most of the ladies here use a D3 or D4, so I'm going to try another. I'm somewhere between BSL and MBL and I think I need the Deman with wider teeth. The D3 has 7 rows, I think one with 5 or possible 3 rows would be better so it wont separate my curls.

I hope that helps ya!
