I'll start. I have never used Joico, but Kenra is great. I pulled it out today for a dry DC and my hair was lush!

Texlaxed and my hair did not like either. I am using up the last of my kenra liter. I bought 2 since the first little bottle was good.
I used the joice intense hydrator and kpax. That did nothing for my hair. I took the line back and got a refund. Used and all.
OUt of the 3 the kenra moist con was better.

I LOVE the kenra MC but I hate the shampoo they have.
Joico K-pak was a lovely line but not great enough to become a staple.I really liked the reconstructor and it had a great smell.I may repurchase during the holidays when smart style salon has the sale.

Kenra MC Is great! I just finished up my bottle and will be purchasing more and it's sister product (Elucence) as well. Kenra leaves my hair soft, and moisturized and the smell Is delish! After DCing the comb glides through my hair, no tangles whatsoever. :yep:

As for the Jocio, I've been itching to try it for some time but never have. **Awaits reviews**:yep:

the kenra mc does NOTHING for my hair and my hair isnt coarse or really dry or damadge or anything it just doesnt work for me. but the joico k pak is good. i need to use it up though. i am dying to try the moisture recovery.

I've tried Joico back in the day, and it was great up until they changed their formula. :ohwell:

HOWEVERRR, I absolutely  Kenra!!! The Moisturizing Poo and Con (oh how yummy) have been my HG staples for a couple of months now. Between using these two products and roller setting, I've been amazed at the health & strength of my hair.

Two thumbs up for Kenra!

Hi there,

Is there protein in the Kenra shampoo?

tia,
tishee

I've never tried Joico, or Elucense (sp) but I adore Kenra. :rosebud: It is my FAVE condish of all time. I just now learned that it's got protien in it. Between that and my beloved aloe vera gel, I've now learned that 2 out of 3 of my staples are proteins.... I need to step it up on the moisture!

I'm torn between these two lines right now. I haven't tried the Joico yet but I really want to after all the reviews here, specifically from my homey Brownie.

Kenra MC has crack in it and makes my hair sit down and shut up. :yep: Plus I love that I can use the conditioner as my deep conditioner AND my leave in AND my moisturizer. 3 for one baby!!!

I never tried Kenra But I love Joico K Pak line & the Moisture Recovery line.

I haven't tried Kenra products, but found Joico products at Ross this past weekend. GREAT products!!!!!!!:grin: My hair was smooth, soft and easily detangled!!!!!!

I received the Kenra Clarifying Shampoo (Chelating Formula) from a member last month & I love it.

It doesn't dry my hair out or leave it feeling horrible, and that's something I was really worried about b/c it is the chelating formula. I plan to get another bottle from Ulta when I go to Florida at the end of the summer.

I haven't tried any shampoos/conditioners from Kenra yet.

My stylist uses the Joico Moisture Recovery line and I use the K-Pak chelating shampoo (I like this). I've also used the K-Pak reconstructor in the past. (just OK to me).

Kenra moisturizing conditioner is THE BEST! Hands down. I've tried them all including joico. I haven't tried the shampoo.
