Hi everyone I just joined in May of this year though I've lurked this forum for a few years now. I really enjoy the camaraderie and wonderful sharing of information here. Thank you for welcoming all of us newcomers. I have a few pics I just posted today in fotki. Those pics of me were taken last May when I visited my daughter in Hagerstown MD. My hair at that time was natural, cornrowed underneath the wig that I was wearing. I had been natural for 3 years -- started in '05 and transitioned back to relaxer this January. I have 4a, necklength desiring to be SL by June 2009. I am very glad to have finally taken the leap to serious haircare and growth thanks to LHCF!

Aww thank you!!! I LOVE that scarf (I think I wore it everyday during winter lol). And girl, your hair is looking great. I just saw a pic you posted in the braidout thread, I think, and it reminded me that I need to start practicing different hairstyles.

I have been getting around lately (and Lord knows I need to be studying for the LSAT). I just watched your megabun video the other day and I'm gonna try it the moment I take this weave out of my head. If it works on me it'll be my new protective style yay!!

I've got an appt to cut my hair Saturday and get this transition rolling. I'm at BSL now and I'm scurred.. I need support! LOL The amt of hair I'm willing to cut keeps getting smaller and smaller erplexed
