Who here an now will make a stand to make this the kind of great place it used to be and more? Will you agree to think before you speak? Will you pm someone instead of blowing them up on the board? Will you greet a newbie or answer a question for the umpteeth time?

I did not know there was a problem, but it's great to start fresh. However, it should be okay for people to have different opinions as long as everyone is polite when expressing his/her thoughts. I definitely think you should pm someone before calling them out. HHG

Like Rain, I didn't know there was an LHCF beef. I've been too busy reading different threads on how to keep my hair on my head. Unfortunately, I had to get my hair cut And now, I have to start over. Never knew there was a problem but I'm a newbie. I am a member to all sorts of boards and they all run into this sort of problem from time to time. It's normal because we are all human. I agree it is not to be done publically, but I'm down for blowing someone up if need be (don't let ANYONE push you around-that's what I was taught). But yeah, that's what PM is for. As I said earlier, I'm new here and haven't had any problems but I will remember this for future references.....

It actually irritates me when newbies have to start 2-3 threads to get a response and members just scroll over her thread to reply to the ones w/ 100 posts.

I know you may be irritated that its another repetitive thread but you could at least go in there and tell her how to use the search feature.

I try to go and use it for them and post a few threads to look at.

I used to be in the same boat til i had to use the search feature just to figure out HOW to use the search feature! It was ridiculous and i see why so many just lurk.
