I hope they help. Also I have a couple of reccipes in my fotki and you're welcomed to check them out. If you have any further questions, simply ask here, I'm sure some of the ayurveda experts will chime in. All in all, I love the strengthening, conditioning and growth power of all ayurveda powders and henna. Some are drying to my hair and I use those at a bare minimum.

ETA: The powders are used in place of shampoos and some can be mixed with your commercial conditioners. Maybe you should google the word if you need to really educate yourself on these powders. I don't recommend using them if you don't know how to mix them together as some are extremely drying like the aritha powder.

So we meet again Ms. Aggie, I have a strong interest in Ayurvedic powders and oils. I used the powders twice and just Henna'd last week for the first time. My hair is stronger and has a healthy, beautiful shine. Ayurvedic is definately my way to go :yep:, still educating and learning as much as possible, taking my time. Going to check out your recipe for the powders and co-washing

. Any tips on making Teas with the powders for rinses? or any other recipes for the powders, all wanted. Thanx in advance.

Sincerly Anna

Yes, I would recommend that if you are making a rinse, please add some coconut or vatika oil (maybe 2 oz per 32 oz mixture)to it while it's still hot. This method helps to keep the rinse from having that oh so familiar drying effect from the powders and it has worked very well for me this way, and please do not forget to oil your hair (pre-poo) and scritch your scalp before applying.
