I'm no longer APL... Back to SL. :yep:

Still not "burning my ships" (inside joke with my DF regarding a BC), but I got me a "summer time" hair cut today. I like it and I love how thick my ends look. It makes me appreciate freshly trimmed/ cut hair :)

Today I got a Dominican blowout and a DEEP trim :)

Up close to show length without the bend/curl. I'm securely BACK at SL... Oh well, it will grow back :)

Thanks ladies! Hopefully it will make my transition psychologically easier... As long as I remember it's just hair and it will grow back :) I hope to be back at the same length by Christmas.
 
The thickness of your hair has me drooling....

Beautiful hair and I love how black it is.

Thanks! I actually haven't had a black rinse in over 8-10 months, so it must be the lighting because it's brown, dark brown, but brown.

My hair tends to be on the coarse/ thick side. I hate when my ends thin out... :wallbash: I'd sacrifice thin ends even if it means losing length :)

Girl, that's the power of that Dominican round brush and blow dryer. I can't get that ish done more than once every 1-2 months. It is silky like a relaxer though... and it swangs too!:yep:

I called him when I was leaving the salon and told him I burned ONE ship... he was like, no, you "either burn all the ships or go home", which translates to either come home with an afro or a full relaxer...:look: :lachen: I'm happy with the choice and don't plan to burn the ships he speaks of. LOL!

:lachen:He seems funny .. but those D.B.'s make it look like you have a fresh relaxer .. so he should be happy for a few days, I guess.
