Yeah I have some in my fotki under hairstyles but I don't know how good it is. The ones I did I took them out too early so my hair was still a little wet. Usually if I leave them in long enough my curls are really tight but end up dropping after a couple of days.

Dang y'all give me something to look forward to when my hair grows up :lachen:

Godsflowerr has some pics in her fotki:

--Bantu / Zulu Knot set - After rollersetting my hair I wanted to try a loose wavy look without using curling irons so i combed out my rollerset, added some Hydratherma Moisturizer and put my hair in 4 bantu knots. I sat under the dryer for about 5 minutes and left the knots in for about 2-3 hours. When I took it down, i had soft waves --

Iluvsmuhgrass' has a NICE bantu out... :yep: Lovely!

This made me smile today!! Thanks yall *hugs*

I sectioned my hair into 8 sections. You can make more depending on how big or small you want your curls. I blow dried on a cool setting to about 80% dry with a little coconut oil and whatever leave in I had on hand. I used Mizani Therma-smooth but I don't always use anything to set it (They'll still come out looking good, they just won't last as long.) While the hair is still warm from a low temp blow drying, I'd take the section (I did them 1 X 1) and twirl it around in my hand (like you're playing with your curls by twisting them around your finger) Once it's twirled from root to tip, I begin to make the knot. I complete the entire head then just leave it in until I'm ready to go. Unwrap them gently and finger comb.

Really that's all I did. :) HTH

(I think twirling makes them look better with more definition than just putting the hair into the knots)
