HEYYYY LHCF,

OOOOOK I REALLY LIKE IT WHEN NATURALS HAVE NOSE RINGS AND IVE BEEN DEBATING GETTING ONE....COULD I GET SOME OPINIONS PLEASE??? :look:

SORRY NOT REALLY A HAIR QUESTION :ohwell:

i don't see what difference it makes if you're natural or relaxed... i know lots of chicks with nose rings. :look:

if you like it, i love it. :yep:

I think they look good but once you take em out it's a wrap. They leave scars and that isn't a hot look. I saw a cute girl today with a nose ring scar. :nono:

I hear you OP.

I've been debating getting one too.
Last time I went to the piercing shop, I chickened out and got a left inner helix instead.
I like nose rings on naturals too.
IMO, it just adds a certain ethnic touch when it's paired with natural hair; kinda reminiscent of certain African tribes that wear nose jewelry.

Oh no... I was going to get one, but may be not...

I think nose rings seem to go w/ the rebellious, funky natural look. I was going to go for that, but I don't want any complications like a scar or a keloid!

I agree with other ladies that it doesn't matter whether you are relaxed or natural when it comes to a nose ring.

Both my sister & I have nose rings and we are currently relax and use to be natural, but it was personal choice but not b/c of how i have my hair.

I think you would look cute with a nose ring but just make sure you are getting one for the RIGHT reasons

Cool, I wanna see it when you get it done.
Maybe, you'll be my inspiration:grin:

I thought about getting one. I must admit, they look more exotic and beautiful on ethnic looking people. By this I mean Asian Indians, Africans from all regions and the afrocentric people in America. That's just my opinion though...

i could def c u with one....and thats exactly my opinion too

yea i want one that looks like a tiny sparkle but i may rock a hoop from time to time it goes with my personality

I have a nosering and I am relaxed but I am muslim and wear hijab so my hair is always covered. I have had my nose pierced since I was 12 and I love it (I am now 32). My nose ring has suited me when my hair was relaxed as well as natural. So I think you should go for it if you like it.

yeah i want one too, its cute and exotic iit does look good when ur natural or just an exotic look. a lot of indian women have them and it looks good when they have the henna on their hands too...

I had one since I was 13. I haven't worn it in for years (except a few days here and there). I have no scar, no keeloid or anything else like it. Only if you look closely you can see the hole but it's not different than seeing a whole in the ear lobe when I don't wear earings I think.

Me personally, I don't prefer the hoop, just a teeny diamond.

Here is recent pic of me. You can see my nose ring is just a tiny sparkle. You can barely notice it unless you look at me up close....

BEAUTIFUL! That's the type of nose "ring" I want. I LOVE IT! NIce couple by the way!

Thanks for the compliment!! When you first get your nose pierced you will have to wear a starter which is much bigger but after 2 or 3 months you can switch to a smaller one. You can find the real tiny ones at beauty supply shops (not Sallys tho).

Everyone doesn't scar...I had one for 2 years about 5 years ago and had to take it out for a job and did not get a single scar...

Every one skin is different...I just got it done again last month on the opposite side of my nose..

i have had my nose pierced for 15 years. i've gone years without wearing an earring in it & it never closes completely. without an earring in there, the hole just looks like a freckle on my nose.

i love having it & i've been relaxed & natural. i go thru stages as far as wearing it, sometimes due to my job. i always wear a flat diamond stud in there as a personal preference, but a ring does look cute on some people.

i say go for it!. if you get it done, go to a piercing shop, & only by your jewelry from somewhere that specializes in body jewelry. they have more selection, & different gauges to give you one to fit perfectly. and when you 1st get it done, you'll have to sleep on the other side for a while. i remember it would get sore from the pillow when it was brand new.

good luck!

I have one. I'm not natural though. It's a really tiny one (14K gold stud). Once the piercing heals with the ring that it was pierced with, you can exchange it for smaller ones if that is your style. I've taken mine out and you can't even tell I wear one after two days or so and there is no scarring or any evidence of the ring having been there at all. Depends on the person I guess...Oh yeah, definitely go to a body piercing studio!

I'm relaxed and I have one. I haven't worn it in a very long time though but I can still shove it in so it hasn't closed up completely. I prefer the little studs over the ring.
