If you live in NYC, there's a BSS on Fulton St (in Fulton St. Mall in Brooklyn). It's to the right of Smith Street and the Jay St. A train station. They sell the small trial versions of Chi for 1.99 I believe. By trial version, I mean super tiny, probably just one application. For the next up size, the small one that usually goes for 11.00 and some in NY, just try Rite Aid or any BSS. Look behind the counter though in the BSS, since it's small.

ETA: My bad, I just saw that you live in Houston. Try CVS. I think I've seen the small ones there too.
