That looks about right. Shea butter tends to be pretty hard - leave it out someplace warm, and it'll soften up.

I think you have to take some put it in something and put that in hot water and stir it to melt it up some and make it softer, then you can probably ,if you want to, put it in a blender with some oil and whip it up to a soft consistency

You can make a basic hair/body butter.
Take off a chunk of it and melt it in the microwave in a glass dish, then add some olive oil to it.

Here are the measurements
1/3 cup - olive oil
2/3 cup - shea butter

Mix the two together.
Pour the warm liquid a small container with a lid. A microwaveable Tupperware container is great for holding your shea butter liquid. Finally put it in the fridge or the freezer until it's solid again.

I love this type of shea butter. I buy mine at my local BSS in a 4oz jar.

Its called Golden Shea Butter or Kpangnan the butter from the African Butter Tree, which is different than the shea butter tree. You can use it the same as you would shea butter.

Considering they shipped to Canada, this is not bad.
It looks good, I think the shea is from Ghana, so I think it is the real deal
