I am doing this tonight. I haven't oiled my hair in a couple of days so I stepped it up a bit and then put a plastic cap on so that it won't get through my scarf and on my pillow case. Would doing this be beneficial to my hair and scalp? Or is it not good because my hair and scalp can't breathe? Thanks.

is it ok? please, i live in a whole head baggie! oil, con, wet, dry. my hair barely feels the air! (which may be why it acts up when it does....?)

I have done this but now I place a lil hole in the plastic cap so my scalp can breath - for some reason my scalp does not feel good when damp and all closed up.

Oh I have been doing this almost every night for the past several months! My hair stays moisturized and my satin scarf remains in place too! HTH

I pre poo like that once a week, it keeps my pillowcase clean . Sometimes, I put on a warm turbie twist, then the plastic cap then the satin bonnet.

This technique did not work for me at all (tried it once). :nono: My hair started reverting (getting nappy) due to the sweat. :wallbash: There was no air coming in. Sweat was in the plastic cap.

I'm glad you like it. I've been tossin and turnin all night and just took it off! :wallbash: I can't do this and will only use a cap to deep condition and that's it!

I did that last night - usually do it when I'm going a weekend long hair session ( ;) ) and don't want to let my hair dry out overnight. I usually just soak it in a little con, slap on the shower cap and my doo-rag, and I'm good to go. My hair is extra moist and soft the next day. :yep:

I do this when I pre-poo with oil the day before I wash to prevent the oil getting on my pillows and sheets. Works well. I get a good oil treatment.

Whenever I baggy my whole head, my hair ends up not moist, but straight up wet.

It doesn't smell that great either.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

That's one reason I stopped. I think I will try to poke a couple of holes in the shower cap.:ohwell:
