I have been on the board for years and have sent out plenty of products to different members SCAM or not.
If I dont want and use the products I dont care if it's a scam or not.
I have received my share of products from member who would not accept payment and some items are expensive.
I am glad to spread the wealth,PM me anytime ROSIE.

My sister was telling me that gas in San Diego was already $4.50/gallon

Here in NC, regular unleaded is 3.75.

yeah, im from san diego, but im in fresno right now, im about to go there for a vacation, and im worried about gas coming back up here! oh well.

wow OP i was thinking of starting a spinoff from that thread too!

because it got me thinking about the few products that they have at homeless shelters. not just hair but everything. last year this time i was still in a "transitional housing" apartment and since my major was social work i was assisting the resident BSW with a lot of things... there used to be 2 of them but the shelter couldn't afford to pay both of them. so i helped as best i could come up with ideas and activites. once we had worked out a day for all the ladies to get a free makeover at one of the local beauty colleges... i didn't get to go because i was already working at that time, but we arranged day care for those with younger kids and it was on a Monday so the older kids were in school.

as someone who's been on the other side of it, you'd be surprised how something so seemingly unimportant can be to people who can't afford such luxuries. :yep: so i not only urge you to help other members on our board who need a little extra help right now, but also if you're a serious PJ like me and you have old product that you KNOW you're not gonna use or miss... will you please donate them to a local homeless shelter/women's shelter? sometimes all they have to use are those travel-sized hotel shampoos and conditioners.

*i'm off my soapbox now, i promise*

After I read this, I packed up a ton of stuff that I've been trying to use up and will never do so and I'm dropping it off at the YWCA for the abusive women's shelters.

Thanks LL!

Yes, I have done this in the past. I am guilty of jumping on quite a fe bandwagons here. So I have over the past year given quite a few products to the shelter here.

I've also given plenty of stuff to the mother of a little girl in my dd's girsl scout troop. She needed hair intervention, but is doing well.

Heck, if my duaghter's out grow clothes that are in good condition, I will give them away in a heart beat to whomever wants them at church, among y friends and neighbors, or I give them to shelters. Good will is last on my list if I cannot give them away to someone.

I don't think you're trying to scam anyone. But, I know some people are already thinking it. I can't blame them... we've had people try to do it before so I guess they are just trying to be protective.:ohwell:

You're just trying to rob me of my DevaCare No-poo! you'll never get it.:lachen::lachen::lachen:
