Smoke!

Hello everyone,
Well I love it when the summer hoildays come, but when the smoke get into my hair Well, I washed it yesterday and air dried it and still SMOKE smell. I even used apple cider as a rinse AND STILL SMOKE smell.


PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I would say wash it again. Take a shower. Brush your teeth and wash the clothes you were wearing or put them in a bag. Thats all I can think of.

But there must be some kindof hair febreeze right?

i have an old trick from back in my relaxer days when i didn't wanna re-wash my hair... if i'd been out at the club all night and my hair smelled like an ashtray. if you put a little imitation vanilla extract in your hair, it takes the smell out. don't ask me how, i dunno. it doesn't just mask the smell either, somehow as it dries/dissolves it takes the smell out.

That's a good one, I'm gonna have to try it. About how much IVE? I was just wondering the same thing after coming home yesterday w/my hair smelling like a bbq grill!! I used to rub fabric softener sheets on my hair back in the day, but didn't really wanna do that. HE or Salon Selectives used to make this spritz that neutralized hair odors, but left a bit of a build-up. I didn't wanna wash because I just washed/colored/straightened Saturday morning (that Sabino MB is something serious, kept me frizz free in 90% humidity!).

I'm bad about measuring, too. I just thought I'd ask, but figured I'd be winging it anyway

black-n-sassy makes a spray for braids. It would work for me with a light mist. I like it.
