The 'doing my hair faces' I make are crazy lol

Now I know I make a bunch of 'screw faces' while doing my hair *haha*

gotta watch that for any future vids

if I do any

why thank you!

*cursty*

figuring maybe some natural lady out there might be frustrating with getting through it from scratch, sometimes one little thing can help , one little technique or change

so I always share

CHILE, U SHOLE GOT SOME PURTY HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm transitioning and can't wait to get to length. I hope my attitude don't change but I know if I had that length and the volume you have I probably wouldn't be able to stand myself.

lolol well get ready cause the length is coming

i enjoyed the 1st video (now i do not feel so bad about the amount of coconut oil i use)

off to watch the rest :)

Wow, my first and best inspiration! Thank you so much for the videos. Girl, you have some strong hair. I honestly think if I did that comb out method, I would have no hair left on my head by the end of the year! You did it fast too. We won't talk about how long it takes me to detangle my hair...:look:. The three scrunchies was a great idea that I'm going to try. You got your hair completely under control. :yep: If should try this method but I'm scared. Do you ever get headaches from your ponytail? I have to try and keep my buns and ponies kinda loose or else...:spinning:

BEAUTIFUL HAIR, as usual!! Thanks again.

Hey Irresistible, nice to 'see' you again!!

Your hair is beautiful, as always....but dang lady, that's a workout right there! I just cut a few inches cause I couldn't hang (yet) and my hair was nowhere near your length. I'm working on it though...

It's really nice to see my fave hair inspirations from time to time:grin:

hey mama!

girl no I dont get headaches I make sure I dont position it at the nape, but just above it. I guess I been doing this for so long it doesnt hurt at all. how do you comb through all that hair? My hair is really 'tangly' ugh, and it even re tangles after detangling...its crazy! so its the only way I can do it

Great videos, keep them coming! One question is it Amla oil your using on your pony tail after the coconut oil?

My hair is so tangly. It's no joke. I have to detangle several times a week or FORGET IT. You talked about it tangling right after detangling...that is the story of my hair. I have to have lots of water, preferably running. Then I do a three step process very gently and very carefully. Finger comb, seamless comb, Denman brush. At some point I learned how to do this outside of the shower before washing but I have to take very small sections and spray them heavily with water. It started to take forever...and my arms and shoulders...OUCH.

I really am going to try your method, though. I guess I won't need my daily workout that day. I'll surely burn some calories.

By the way, you are so pretty.

aww thank you girl! my hair isnt that strong girl, so If my hair can handle it I think yours can , its really not rough on the hair at all, the oil makes the k cuter gluide through it mostly, it doesnt rip it at all girl. I know it looks rough, but its not at all. If you can deal with lots of oil , it works, and most of it just soaks up on freshly rinsed hair just leaving it soft. If this went any slower or took any longer I would probably just shave my head! lol

Thanks for answering! One more question about the coconut oil. I find that I have to stop using it in the summer because it constantly melts and leave me with a slick neck and wet back. I don't use nearly as much as you, are you not having this issue? I must be doing something wrong!

Thank you

no it was coconut oil the whole time

are you using extra virgin organic? I found that one soaks in better, and after just rinsing all the oil and products out it seems to just go into the hair and nowhere else. now if I use it with conditioner , which I do at times, then there is more stuff soaking into the hair shaft leaving more oil free to be unsoaked into it. I dont have any oil anywhere after doing it this way...if i kept adding that amount of oil every day then it would reach 'saturation' and then the oil would have nowhere to go but everywhere. so I only do it after a rinse, or if use it again, much less is needed, same with if I use it with another product

let me add there is some excess oil, but its very minimal, i took that towel off and had no oil on my shirt or back all night long

I know thats only because it was done on a fresh rinse with no other products, i know all about the oil slicks LOL, this way its much much less apt to happen

So that's it, I was doing it wrong. On rinsed hair, I use a leave in condition, plus moisturizer, and then virgin coconut oil on the scalp. So the coconut oil must never soaks all the way in. I think I'm going to still have to take it out of my routine for summer though, because my 4a hair needs the other two products! Thanks for the tip!

Beautiful hair Irresistible! Thanks for sharing your videos, I think I'll have to invest in a K-cutter for the future. I've always been a bit reticent about it, (that's a scary looking comb), but now that I've seen it in action I can see how it does the job, especially with more length. Thanks again!

Another option if you really dont want to have to ditch the coconut oil is, after your wash or rinse, just use the coconut oil by itself and leave it that way untill its dry, then you can just re wet if needed without rinsing out the coconut oil and you will already be starting with soft moisturized hair with most of the oil and the benefits soaked into the hair shaft and depending on your choice, you can apply the other products the next morning or whenever your hair has dried, on either slightly damp re-wetted or dry hair. this way you still get the wonderful benefits of the oil

I noticed my hair just feels, looks and does better with oil , no matter what other products I use with it or after....it sooooo much softer

Don't worry girl, I think we all know about the hair faces, lol. I watch myself in the mirror sometimes and it's not pretty:lachen:. You had me cracking up when you were doing the ponytail, lol. Trust me I go through the same frustration:lachen:. I've had bands pop and go flying across the room.....omg I hate that:wallbash:. I usually break out into a sweat when I'm trying to do a ponytail, lol. I'm gonna start doing Chicoro's method using a piece of panty hose. It's much less stress because you just wrap it around tight and you don't have to worry about pulling all that hair through the ponytail holder.

Great video and beautiful hair. I've been admiring your hair for a long time now and it's great to see some videos. Thanks for sharing!

Now that I've seen a visual presentation, I going to give it a try tonight. It looks like a great detangler! I can't figure out how to do anything until I see a video, so Thanks again for making it!!!
