Pokahontas you have my dream hair :lick: but to answer your question these are not tight as you can modify the tension yourself. I don't feel any of the pressure I used to feel with other combs that used to leave my scalp sore. They look good no matter what 'pull' you use. HTH!

You can adjust the tension yourself and having thick hair, they are comfortable for me:yep:, a lot of hair accessories aren't:ohwell:...

Thanks sweetie!

I have been thinking about these things ever since this thread. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering soon.

Ok, should I stick with just getting the large kind? Would the large skinny be too small? What size is everyone using? I want a tight fit.

I can't wait to have enough hair so I can buy some of these.

Hopefully by December 08

that is exactly what I was thinking... I don't have enough hair for this. But I sure can't wait til it grows out then I will have the "zings" to look forward to:yep:

wonderstar... how'd you do your hair like that in your siggy?!?! cute style...

does anyone else have pictures of their hair in these zingy things? :look:

I did six chuncky twists and allowed them to dry in bantu knots. Unravel, pull on an oucless headband, fold in the hair to the middle and secure with pins.

This is after I tamed my hair after a rollerset (medium clear and gold Zing)

BUMP! :bump:

So who's still using the zings? Any Bun Challengers using them still...

Anyone who wants to unload thiers, I have a loving home for them! :callme:

I couldn't resist the siren song of the zings! I hit up QVC's website and got 2 of the 2 packs... one pearl, one black, one silver, one gold! (I'll give one to my mom for Christmas... the rest are for me!) :dance7:

I'm still on the lookout for a pink one if someone doesn't love thiers anymore...

Love them. I was sceptical until I bought a couple and tried them out. Since I wore them I get tons of compliments. I have given out the web address to lot of people already who want to buy. Can't go wrong with these they just make updos look so easy:yawn:

I am definatley going to by a few, they are so cute, and will help with the lack of creativity that I have when it comes to protective styling

NO. I don't.
I purchased them - Finally - after thinking that "don't accept imitation" standards would be wonderful ones.

after 3 uses..... Mine has begun to fall apart.

You may as well purchase the Cheapo knockoff.
I will be calling to complain today.

I am sure that since the FIRST came out... they are now made in China - like all the rest.

:nono::nono:

Umm...mine are all kinds of raggedy looking and busted but I still rock them lopesided joints. I won't re-order, I had MAJOR issues with my order that I don't care to get into because I don't want to get sued plus the company sent me 4 extras to makeup for there MAJOR mistake. I'll probably order the knock-offs.

Yep - it will only be the knockoffs and cheapos from now on. I am sure that we will all be able to find them downtown in a year or so.

E-bay has tons of em.
5 bucks.
