Out of Curiosity i was wondering if there are any teen hair growers/consinder yourself a teen on LHCF?
I See Lots of Older Women Growing their hair long and i want to know if there are some teens out there doing the same thing?
Im a teen i found Lhcf in Nov
 
im 19 i turned 19 in April. I found LHCF in December i think. :)
 
I'm not a teen but I think you're very lucky to find the forum so young. The earlier the better.:yep:

I was a teen when I started having MAJOR problems with my hair. It was really bad. I wish this forum was around back then, I'd be BSL by now.

I found this forum when I was 18 but was far too busy wildin' out (since i was finally out of my parents house:drunk:) to devote enough time, effort and money to my hair. Now though, I am all about having the healthiest hair possible. I wish I would have taken advantage of the endless information that can be found here 4 years ago, my hair would be to my butt now.
 
I'm 19 and found LHCF in Feb.
I'm very glad I found this board.
 
i found LHCf at 18 and thank God, cause i was terrible to my hair! I pressed it, ontop of blowdrying it, ontop of coloring it, ontop of relaxing!

Just want to say thank you ladies of LHCF!
 
I actually found this site at 14, but didn't really take it seriously:rolleyes:. I was convinced it was a ploy because it was not possible for so many black women to have such long healthy hair. The fee didn't help either. I was convinced people were trying to rip me off!:lachen:
I found it again when I was 15 and took it more seriously and just lurked aroudn, joined at 16 when I finally got a debit card.
 
I found LHCF when I was 17 and I am 19 now. By 21 I should be at my goal length.

I wish I could help my teenage niece but I dont think she took my advice to heart :sad:

I even left specific instructions for my baby niece's hair...they didnt follow it. Well *** that. MY daughter will have the best hair.

hmm.. :scratchch now that i think about it.. i found this site when i was 17. but didnt take it serious once i saw you had to pay to get on. im 21 now.. wow.. am i one of those "older ladies" ? God im getting old.
 
I am a teen on LHCF. I found this website first when I was 13 or 14, but didn't join because of the fee. I came back this Feb and asked my dad to pay the fee :lachen:. I've been 16 for a month. :grin: My mom won't let me do anything with my hair though. I'm working on her about it. Right now, she runs when I say the word hair. I'm thinking if I BC, she might let me take care of it myself. Then I will consider myself an OFFICIAL, practicing member of LHCF. Until then, I'm just an observer. :sad:
 
wow, I see a lot of us did the same thing :lol:. I found the site when I was 18, but got discouraged & didn't bother with the info. Came back here last year @ 20 and now my hair is really growing. If only I had kept at it, I'd be butt-length by now. :grin:
 
I found this site in November, joined in January and FINALLY paid my fee late last month. I just turned 20 in April so I was 19 when I found LHCF :grin:
 
Im 20, I found this site my freshmen year (18) of college. Fell in love and my hair is the healtiest and strongest it has ever been. We should all be fotki friends if you have.
 
hmm..when did I find this site..I probably found it when I was 15 or 16 at latest and joined when I turned 17...I'm still 17 ! :grin:

we are the same age!! Yea i found LHCF when i just turned 15.
 
I wish i was a teen hair grower, lol. If i knew what i know now 10yrs ago, you couldn't tell me nothing right about now.
 
I'm 20, and I found this site last year, when I big chopped. At 19. :grin:
 
I am 17. I found the forum at 16. I think I maybe the youngest member. That makes me happy. :grin: I still wish I would have found it earlier.

I do think it is somewhat harder to "fit in" with other members because of my age. :ohwell:

ETA: Darn...I'm not the youngest. Oh well...close to it!

No, I don't---ya'll can't even drink or rent a car (in some states). and you still require parental approval for too many purposes.
But I will say that I've been 25 for 3 years straight now.
In Oct it'll be 4 yrs...I may be decide to be 26 after that.

When I was some of your ages I was hacking my hair away like I didn't have any sense. My family was hot with me when I came home from school, i tell you that!
From 20-24--I was in my Halle Berry stage...after that I was weaved out!

If I'd try to grow my hair out back then I would've been BSL 7 times over by now!:grin:
